	Vuuzhan Vong, huh? I really, really don't like them... I loved Jacen's and Jaina's banter- it came so naturally. That is one thing I have really missed since the problems during the Dark Nest trilogy. Quick question, is Tahiri going to be in this later as Caedus' little enforcer? I'm kind of hoping not, but if so I would be interested to see what her character is like in this AU. Good update, I will be back for more. I'm glad you like the Jacen/Jaina duo. yeah I've missed it too since DNT . um no, Tahiri's not going to be his little sidekick. 	Part 12 Jacen and Jaina turned on their lightsabers, sending purple and green twirling together in a beautiful but deadly pattern as they easily batted away the incoming blaster bolts. The squad of GAG reeled back in surprise at the presence of lightsabers, but instead of running they intensified their firing. “Jedi!” they yelled. Jacen quickly caught the brunt of the attack as four of the GAG shot well aimed bolts right at him. He twirled his lightsaber in a high arch quickly catching three of the bolts, then ducked to the right at the last second to avoid the forth. While still twirling her blade, Jaina turned to her brother, “Jacen we have to do something, there’re going to give us away. And trust me we DON’T want to be stuck on this ship if the fraud finds out we’re here”. Jacen deflected a bolt that was coming in at his face, than answered her, “don’t worry, I’m working on it”. Jaina swung her lightsaber sideways in front of her chest and barely got both of the blots that had been coming in for both sides of her chest, “What do you mean you’re working on it? What’s the plan?” More GAG troops ran into the scene and added to their load, and Jaina could see some of them going for their comlinks, “well whatever you’re going to do, you’d better do it fast.” She said warningly. She reached out with the force and ripped away some of their comlinks, but she knew that wouldn’t stop them for long. She was worried, if word got out about them then every GAG would soon be on their tail including Colonel Fraud, and there really was no way to escape with the ship in hyperspace. She turned to look at Jacen again expecting to see the same panic that she knew was on her face, written on his face as well. But she was shocked to see mischief written there instead. Jacen saw Jaina’s surprised look and gave her his lopsided smile again, “I think it’s about time to take some control over this situation. Don’t you think?” She batted away a few more bolts than looked sideways at him again confused, “what are you talking about? How are we going to……?” She stopped talking and almost yelped in surprise when Jacen stepped forward towards the troops and flipped back the hood of his robe revealing his features to them. All the GAG stopped firing at once and nearly dropped their blasters in shock, “Colonel Solo we…we…but you…” Jacen played his part and gave them all very angry and disproving looks, giving them all the stare down, “So this is what you’ve all been trained? To shot at your leader?” some of them started to protest but he intensified his glare and they instantly shut up. Jacen had to act fast now, while he had the chance to think clearly without having to worry about blaster bolts. The GAG waited in fearful silence to hear what their punishment would be. They all knew the story’s of many other officers that had felt the wrath of Colonel Solo and knew most of them had ended up dead. While still locking onto them with his stare he carefully channeled the force through his body and touched each of the GAG with it, sending them all into a deep slumber. Jaina watched all this with shock but also amusement, “brilliant Jacen, just brilliant. You know…” she said thinking, “I almost believed you there for a minute”. Jacen walked around the GAG and stopped by each of them and put his right hand on them one at a time until he had touched all of them. “I hope not”, he said standing up from touching the last one; “though….” He said thinking, “I guess it wouldn’t have been the first time”. She narrowed her eyes at him, “I was kidding Jacen”. He raised an eyebrow at her, “really?” he said in shocked amusement, “did my ears just deceive me or did my humorless sister just try to make a joke?” “Oh get over yourself”, she said smiling good naturally. Than as she surveyed the area she remembered what Jacen had just done, “why were you touching them?” “Just a mild memory wipe so they wouldn’t remember what just happened”, he said innocently. She raised an eyebrow at him but nodded, “good idea. But we better do something about them, it’s going to raise a lot of questions if someone finds a whole squad of GAG asleep and don’t remember what’s happened in the last 20 minutes”. “Already got that covered”, he said as he started walking away, “they’ll all wake up as soon as we leave and I’ve installed a few fake memories of them walking around here. Nobody will ever know”. Jaina looked at him impressed, “when do you all of a sudden become so smart?” He shrugged, “ever since birth I guess”. He said throwing her back another lopsided smile. “Now come on, we should get out of here before someone does notice.” She rolled her eyes and quickly followed him until she suddenly got an idea. She looked back at the still asleep troops than back at Jacen as she slowly felt a smile creeping up on her face. She ran back to them. Jacen turned when he heard Jaina turn around and was shocked to see her running back towards the GAG. “Jaina what are you doing?” he yelled back at her. Jaina turned her head back towards him so he could see the mischievous look on her face as she reached out and grabbed two of the fallen troops, “you may be pretty smart Jacen, but I’m even smarter”. She dragged the heavy GAG back towards her doubtful looking brother and dropped the taller one in front of him. “Come on”, she ordered as she continued dragging the other GAG towards the nearest empty room. Jacen looked down at the Vader looking soldier a little wary then reluctantly picked him up and followed Jaina. They carefully passed a few rooms that they could hear and sense meetings going on, then quietly made their way down another hallway and soon found an unoccupied room that looked like someone’s bedroom. Jacen carefully stepped over someone’s clothes that had been left littered all over the floor and took note of the unmade bed, unwashed dishes stacked up in the kitchen and other miscellaneous items scattered everywhere. “What a mess”, he said clearing some of the clothes off the bed and setting the GAG in its place. “You’d think this Colonel Solo guy could keep his troops more supplied in house droids”. Jaina nodded as she distastefully looked out at the mess as well, then dropped her GAG in a pile of clothes as she started looking for a mirror. He watched her than looked back at the two sleeping GAG’s, “mind telling me what you have planned with these guys now?” Jaina answered him by bringing the mirror she found and set it on the floor by the bed, then grabbed both of the GAG and stripped them of their clothes and then threw one of the black uniforms to Jacen. As she watched Jacen looking at the clothes like a letel weapon that would attack him at any minute, she carelessly threw the naked GAG in the closet. Jacen looked at the clothes dumbfounded, “you’ve got to be kidding me”. She smiled at him mischievously as she took her own set of the clothes into what she thought was the bathroom, as it was hard to tell under all the mess. She kicked the stuff out of her way as she closed the door. “Have fun Jacen”. He gingerly walked over to look in the mirror as he held it up to his body, “black is so not my color”. He muttered as he changed out of his dark stealth jumpsuit and robe, then reluctantly put on the pitch black Vader inspired clothes. He looked at himself and shivered in horror, he really looked like him now. Jaina walked out of the bathroom in her own Vader suit and her eyes instantly met Jacen’s, but instead of reeling back in horror like he was, she just frowned. “It’s missing something,” she said as she looked him over. He looked at her in confusion, then looked at himself again in the mirror trying to figure out what she was talking about. He looked back and forth between her outfit and his but he couldn’t tell any difference from hers to his. “What?” She bit her lip as she started looking around the room at all the clothes slug around. She picked up a few black pieces she found, but quickly tossed them away. Jacen ducked when Jaina threw some of the clothes his way as she continued looking, until she found what she was looking for over in a pile of clothes by the door. She stood back up satisfied holding up a long black cape victoriously. Jacen took one look and his eyes about bugged out of his head. “Not a chance,” he said defiantly crossing his arms. Jaina raised an eyebrow at him and determinedly walked towards him holding the cape over her left arm. “I’m not wearing that Jaina”, he said warningly as he backed up away from her as she continued to walk purposely towards him. Jaina ignored him and held the cape up to him regardless, “Jacen you have to”, she said as she slowly backed him up into a corner. He looked at the cape than at Jaina as she gave him the look she always gave when she meant business. Jacen had never been able to refuse his sister before when she looked at him like this and he didn’t think he could stop now. He looked back down at the cape again as it swished like a deadly animal in her arm and he moaned, “Oh come on Jaina”. Jaina held the cape up to his face and bored her eyes into his, “No”. 	Ok time to take a break from the two troublesome twins and focus back on Caedus, since I know how much you all love him But don't let that keep you from reading this part, because there're are quite a few answers in this part Oh by the way everyone, my Birthdays today! thanks for all the comments everyone! ......................................................................................................................................................... Part 13 Caedus stood up on the command deck looking out as the stars whizzed by, well that’s what all the officers watching him thought. But in truth, the stars were the last thing on his mind. He had just felt something from the force that was unsettling him, something barely noticeable, but he had learned many times that sometimes the small thing meant the biggest trouble. He narrowed his eyes, something was wrong, something was out of place, he could feel it. He couldn’t figure out where the feeling was coming from though, it had just barely touched the back of his mind with no clear direction, but it had somehow felt oddly familiar. He shook his head, it was probably nothing. Ever since Luke had snuck upon his ship, Caedus had noticed himself getting a little jumpy. He didn’t like that feeling, it was greatly annoying. Entering the command deck Caedus felt a familiar presence making her way towards him, he blew out a sigh, ever since she had helped save him at Kashyyyk, she suddenly had this ridiculous idea that he owned her something. He slowly turned to watch her as she made her way to him, she was of course in GAG disguise, and he wondered what soldier she had killed this time. She stopped in front of him with the GAG helmet reflecting back at him, he narrowed his eyes meanfully at her than briskly walked past her using his right hand to motion her to follow. She obediently followed as he led her down a few hallways filled with GAG doing routine checks. The soldiers visibly cringed as he powerfully walked past them, but he paid no attentenion to them. His little follower on the other hand did though, as she intently looked them over as they passed. His long legs made speed as they made their way to his office. As they entered the small office, he sat down behind his desk leaving her to stand awkwardly in front. As the door slide shut behind them she carefully removed the black helmet to reveal the features of Alema Rar. He frowned at her, “whatever you’re here for, you’d better make it quick”, he said while picking up his data pad and going through some of the latest reports. She looked at him sadly, “Is that all you can say to us? After we just saved your life?” He looked up and raised an annoyed eyebrow at her, “What do you want?” She narrowed her eyes, “Only what we have needed for years now, to bring balance to the galaxy”. She looked passionately around the small nearly empty office, “we’ve saved your life now you owe us ours”. Caedus resisted the urge to roll his eyes as he set the data pad back down and leaned back in his chair, “I’m going to make this really clear Alema,” he said fixing her with a stare that could make even a Hutt cringe, “you may have helped some back there at Kashyyyk, but that does not mean I owe you or your dead little bugs anything!” She took a step back but protested anyway. Caedus threw her a force punch that crushed her against the far wall, “Now get off my ship!” Alema angrily got up wincing at the pain he had cast upon her, why did the imbalance of the galaxy always come back to hurt her? She knew she would be cursed to this until she brought that balance back. “Not until you give us what we deserve”, she said bravely. Oh he’d give her what she deserved, Caedus muttered to himself. “And what do I possibly have that I owe you? If you want the death of my mother than that’s something you’re going to have to do on your own, I have the galaxy to worry about right now.” “If you’re worried about the galaxy than you should be more than willing to help us put balance back in it,” she said with a satisfied smile. He just shook his head at her, “that is not going to bring balance to the Galaxy. Winning this war and putting everyone back in their place is going to do that”. She looked at him sorrowfully, “that will only be part of it, but we will only feel the balance of the galaxy when we make Leia suffer”. Caedus thought his eyes were going to roll out of his head, “that sounds more like a personal problem to me”. Alema’s eyes flashed angrily at him. Caedus smiled though as he felt an idea coming, “although if you could do me a favor…. I just might be able to find you some backup.” He said raising an eyebrow. She narrowed her eyes at him; she had already saved his life, what more could he want? Greedy little sith. “What kind of favor?” Caedus leaned back again with a satisfied look on his face, “Did Lumyia ever tell you the whole story of our plan?” She looked at him intently, “Not really, but we’ve been guessing”. “And what did you come up with?” Alema found a chair by the closest and brought it up to the desk to sit in, she had a feeling this was going to be a long story, “just that Lumyia was training you to be the next dark lord of the sith and you and her were going to rule the galaxy”. Caedus smiled at that, “that sounds pretty good in fairy tale format like that, but in real life, things don’t always go that easily. That’s why Lumyia’s raised and trained me years for this, years and years learning anything and everything related to the sith ways and mastering it. I learned from of the greatest sith lords of our history...” He looked up at her smiling, “even Palpatine.” Alema looked up startled at him, “Palpatine? Raised? What are you talking about, Palpatine is long dead and you weren’t raised by Lumyia”. She shook her head; Jacen had really lost it now. He looked at her in all seriousness, “I’m about to tell you something Alema, something you must never share with anyone else.” He watched her as she nodded than continued, “Look at me Alema, who do you think I am?” Yep he’d lost it, just another imbalance in the galaxy, “what kind of question is that? You’re Jacen Solo.” Caedus felt a smile creeping up on his face, “wrong”. Alema looked at him than felt her eyes wandering the room in shock, what was he talking about? Of course he was Jacen Solo he couldn’t be anyone else. He let the smile creep into a grin as he watched Alema sit there in utter confusion. She knew so little. “I’ll let you figure it out, but the point is that the real Jacen Solo has returned and I need you to do some spying on him for me”. His grin grew bigger and bigger as he watched her try to digest those words. Alema about jumped out of her chair ready to strangle him, how dare he make fun of her like this. She had saved his life and now he could only repay her by making fun of her. People often thought of her as a little crazy, but she was far from stupid. As she force leapt at him he gave her another force punch, and watched with satisfaction at the sound of her bones cracking. “You don’t believe me?” he asked mockingly. Alema lay on the floor for a while, she knew he had given her a few broken bones this time, but she was well accustomed to pain now as she slowly crawled back to her chair. “You only speak lies!” she spat out, “Lumyia was wrong, you won’t bring balance back to the galaxy”. Caedus could feel his temperament rise a little at that, but he didn’t care, anger always made him stronger, “You know nothing! And so you deserve nothing, now get off my ship!” She felt her whole body trembling now, from the pain and from the tremendous dark energy he was letting off. She now saw what Lumyia had seen in him, his power, but she had obviously failed to screw on his head right. And so it was now her responsibility to do so. She needed to finish the work Lumyia had started. “No, it is you who know nothing. And we’re not leaving until you give us what we deserve” Caedus was starting to have enough of this now, “Unless you want to find yourself dead, than I suggest you learn who’s in charge here” he said warningly as he stood up, overpowering her small figure, “If you want anything than you’re going to have to do as I say, and that means going after Jacen Solo”. She looked him over and sighed, “We can’t go after someone’s who’s right in front of us”. He glared at her, “Not me fool!” he walked around the desk to stand over her and spoke chillingly at her, “after all I’m just his clone”. Alema’s eyes widened in shock, “Clone?!” He narrowed his eyes as he sat back on the edge of his desk, “yes a clone. Raised and trained by Lumyia and by all the greatest dead sith lords of all time.” Alema looked at him in skepticism, “dead?” “Yes dead, but I assure you there’re spirits live on”. She shook her head, “how do we know you’re not making this all up? And not just telling us this to send us on some wild rancor chase?” He raised an eyebrow at her, “And what good would it do me to lie to you? If I wanted you off my ship I could have just thrown you out an air lock.” Alema narrowed her eyes at him, “We still don’t believe you, but if you give us backup to take care of Leia, we’ll do it.” He smiled in victory, “Good”, he reached behind his desk and into one of his drawers and pulled out a data chip and handed out to her. “That chip holds information of the places he’s most likely to be found, but there’s a big chance that he won’t either, so you’re going to have to use that little bug brain of yours some too.” She looked at it and her eyes flashed angrily at him again, “What about our backup?” “It’s on there too, I’m sure you remember Tahiri.” She abruptly looked back up at him and snarled, “You’re only giving us Tahiri?” Caedus gave her an annoyed look, “if I were you I’d be grateful, Tahiri is a Jedi. Which makes her worth more than any number of GAG I would ever give you”. She was still upset about that but she did have to admit that having another Jedi along would help matters greatly. Plus since Tahiri had once been a good friend and girlfriend to one of the Solo’s, it would surely bring even more suffering to Leia. The more she thought about it the more she liked it. She nodded. Caedus stood back up, “great, now the data card will tell you where to meet her. Then you and her will be expected to report back anything you find. Do not take any offensive action towards him, just inform me.” He ordered. She rolled her eyes, she still felt like this was just going to be a wild rancor chase and the galaxy would be stuck in imbalance even longer now. But if she wanted help than she was going to have to do this, she sighed than painfully exited the office. Caedus watched her as she left and inwardly smiled in victory. He wasn’t sure if those two would have any luck in finding anything out for him, but it was a win win situation. If they found out where Jacen was then that was great, but if they didn’t than he would be free of two very annoying women for a while, and still having them alive for farther use later. He was so smart. He made his way out of his office to get to another meeting with his troops. He rode the closest turbolift down a few floors and when the doors slid open he was met with a maintenance crew who was patching up a couple walls that were stained with blaster bolt marks.
