Path of the Borg Side

WE ARE THE..ClockWork-axeman876. Here to...ASSIMILATE...your galaxy. But first, a story...TO DISTRACT YOU WHILE WE TAKE OVER YOUR GALAXY...enjoy.
This is after the Dominion War and Janeway's return to the Alpha Quadrant from the Delta Quadrant. This is set also right after the formation of the Jedi Order.(I don't know much about the New Republic era. I will know more when I get back to school.)
Stardate 54967.3. The Enterprise has been assigned a patrol route through the newly discovered Antourez Nebula. Commander Data has discovered a temporal anomaly inside the core of the nebula and we have set course towards it.
"Data, ETA to the anomaly." Picard asked Data.
"Approximately, 3 minutes." Data replied.
"Captain!", Ensign Brawler shouted.
"What is it mister Brawler?" Picard hastely asked him. Suddenly, he felt the faint voices of millions of voices course through his head.
"Borg energy signatures straight ahead." Brawler responded.
"Red Alert! What is the vessel configuaration Worf?" Riker immediately shouted.
"It is consistant with the design of a Borg Sphere." Worf calmly stated.
"Shouldn't be to hard, right Captain?" Riker asked Picard.
However, Picard couldn't hear him as he listened to the Hive Mind.
SENSOR READINGS INDICATE A TEMPORAL ANOMALY LEADING TO A HEAVILY POPULATED GALAXY WITH MULTIPLE UNASSIMILATED SPECIES. PREPARE TO ENTER ANOMALY.
Picard quickly shouted,"Mr. Worf quickly destroy that sphere!"
Before Worf could fire phasers, Data interrupted,"I'm sorry Captain, but the vessel has entered the anomaly."
Now, to the people who are reading this, a thought. A poll, I have prepared.
Who does the Borg Sphere encounter when they appear?
A. The Imps
B. Pirates
C. New Republic
D. Civilians
E. Others
Now something completely different, F. Sentient Teddy Bear Humanoids

 I now have a picture in my head of sentient teddy bear humanoids with blazing lightsabers in their hands.
So Picard's going to kick some Borg butt with help of the New Republic? At least that's what I'm thinking at this point.

"Captain?" Riker asked.
"That wormhole led to another galaxy, I'm sure of it. Will, the Borg said the entire galaxy was heavily populated." Picard gasped.
An ominous hush fell over the entire bridge crew until Data spoke up.
"Sir, I have scanned the other side of the wormhole and determined it is stable to cross over. Shall I lay a course?" Data inquired.
"Send a message to Starfleet and UFP Command Mr. Data, then pursue that sphere." Picard ordered.
"Aye sir." Data replied and in a few seconds the Enterprise entered the wormhole.

(Announcer-like voice) The Borg had come out and found an unsuspecting Corvette. Correlian Corvette to be precise.
The Borg immediately started scanning the surrounding area. They had come into an area with what appeared to be a strip mine facility with many automatons on an asteroid. What made them intrigued was the fact of planetoid fragments blanketing some of the surrounding space. If we could assimilate this knowledge, the Borg on the sphere thought,we would be able to make numerous species become assimilated much more easily. It was only by a matter of dumb luck the Borg's subspace transponder was heavily damaged by the transition. Suddenly, the Borg picked up a ship of unknown configuration on their sensors as well as the presence of several unknown species. Excellent, the Borg thought,we may find out this planet-destroying weapon after all. Let the assimilation begin!

Bol Preet was grimacing in his command chair. A hundred credits?!, he thought,this bill for the merchandise he was smuggling better be worth my mouth. Or something,he looked at a fragile vase, or someone, he thought of his employers,will need more than bacta or synthskin to fix what he'll do.Just a matter of...
"Captain!"a shout came from a Bothan near him, "we are coming up on Kessel!"
The Rodian hissed,"Tell me something important next time besides when we come or leave a destination. I absolutely HATE that."
"Sorry," the Bothan apologized, " I didn't mean to.."
"What IS that?!!" A Neimodian behind Preet shrieked. "that's it I quit. I should have joined the Seperatists years ago, yep."
In front of them was a mottled, sphere-looking ship. Possibly a new kind of patrol vessel, Preet thought,hey, wait a sec, who ever heard of Kessel outlawing spice?
"Shields up! Ready the turbolasers! Prep the troops! Prepare to be boarded" Preet ordered, not hiding his panic.
The Neimodian in the control center suddenly swore many colorful words,"Oh (Pak Pak)(Huttenese)(Geonosian)(Rodese)!"
"Hey! Some of us actually understand Rodese you know!" Preet objected.
The Corvette started a powerful barrage of turbolasers followed by a few proton torpedoes at the sphere before the Borg transmitted their message.
WE ARE THE BORG. YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. YOUR BIOLOGICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL DISTINCTIVENESS TO OUR OWN. A few seconds later, the turbolasers and proton torpedoes did little damage to the sphere's shields. Several minutes later, the CR90's shields were down.
"Captain! These Borg guys are appearing everywhere on our ship. Plus, they seem to have personal shields!" the Bothan reported to Preet.
Oh great, Preet thought,first a bill, then we're attacked by probably some government inspectors, and now these 'Borg' are appearing out of thin air! How worse can it get?!
A few seconds later, he couldn't control his body and felt himself being disembodied.

The Borg could feel the new information, minds, and strength flowing through them. However, they attained few information articles to help them construct a similar planet-destroying machine. They dismissed the issue for a few moments as they sorted though the technology. Not much to assimilate in the wreckage besides a few kinetic projectile launchers and... the Borg collectively skipped a beat. As they found the vessel's star map, they learned the distance between the star systems even the closest ones were tens of thousands of light years. They must have created a kind of transportation method to move around these distances, the Borg panicked. They soon found the Corvette's hyperdrive and salvaged it into their sphere. The efforts of thousands of drones quickly repaired and augmented the system to the sphere.
"PREPARING TO ENTER HYPERSPACE TO GEONOSIS." the Borg stated.
However, a cry came from a distant sector in the sphere was "I HATE THAT!!!!"

comparisons. Although it makes the Federation/borg look like croap, It brings to life how people lose thier lives to star wars/star trek...

Heck I don't think that Picard would have to worry about anyone stealing Fed Tech because aparently the GFFA has some type of teleporting device, cloaking device, bigger guns and drives capable of traveling from one side of the galaxy to the other. The only thing Picard would have to worry about is Imps who would like to expand in the Milky Way.
Don't believe me about the teleporting device watch ANH Luke refers to one.
