Luke reached for Solo’s hand that brushed the sweaty bangs and wrapped his fingers around it. Han gently squeezed back and cradled the somewhat smaller hand.
“I’m sorry,” the boy apologized sincerely, and it reflected the utter selflessness of his character.
  
Seriously, so adorable. I love the way you write Han, the tough guy who's actually sort of a teddy bear.  You never fail to entice an "Awww!!!".

And Luke's awake, but now he's got the flu... poor kid  You can almost sense how nervous Han is, he really cares; a very nice move there having Han ring Leia, he's comforting both parties-- Leia, 'cause she'll want to know how her brother is doing, and Luke, who always cared about Leia. I can just see Han being all nervous and trying to hide it before he talks to Luke himself so he doesn't make him less cheerful, though! I don't know whether that's exactly what you're trying to do, but that's what I got, anyway
And definitely put me on the list

He's got to pull through...Han is on his side, and so is Leia! Nice move, Han remembered to comm Leia to let Luke say hi, also a reminder that he has so much to live for.

Hey everyone! FINALLY got an update for you! Hope you enjoy! Comments are greatly appreciated!
Last Chapter:
“Hey Princess.” Han smiled. There’s someone here who’d like to speak with you.” He moved the comlink closer to Luke.
Luke’s voice was hoarse but happy. “Hi Leia. I love you.”
“I still can’t believe it,” Leia said softly. Standing beside Luke’s hospital bed, she leaned against her smuggler. The Corellian put his arms around her.
“He’s a little fighter,” he murmured back. “Stubborn as a gundark.” A lopsided, proud smile, but it didn’t hide the worry in hazel eyes. He was watching Luke with an odd expression of both concern and fondness- a look that Leia found she was also mirroring.
And for a few minutes they just stood there together, simply watching Luke sleep. A peaceful sleep, not the feverish state he’d been in before, where every breath had been a struggle. If it weren’t for the faint rising and falling of Luke’s chest beneath the blanket, Leia would wonder if he was breathing. But he was, and simply for that she was grateful.
Eyes closed and sandy-blond hair tousled, Luke looked all the more innocent while he slept. His features were soft and childlike, cheeks still tinged pink from fever. He seemed vulnerable. He was vulnerable. And even though she was the same age, Leia often felt older, along with the need to protect him.
Han was Luke’s protector as well. He and Luke couldn’t have been more like brothers if they were related by blood. The sensitive look on the Corellian’s face triggered a memory for Leia. Han wore that very same expression when Luke had come into the Falcon, after having a bad day. It was a while back, during one of Luke’s first weeks as commander, and something happened to upset him badly. Her brother was too shook up to talk, and Leia quickly was at a loss at what to say to help him.
It was Solo who seemed to know what to do. Without a word, he just sat down beside Luke and gently put his arms around him, hugging him. And that was all Luke needed- to be held while he cried.
Later that day, Leia received word that two pilots under Luke’s command had been lost, but that was not the main reason she remembered it all so well. It was the selfless, gentle way Han had acted when Luke was hurting. A change had been coming over Solo gradually and he was no longer the smuggler who wouldn’t do anything without the promise of credits. It was a subtle change, and to others it could go unnoticed. Han no-doubt would’ve denied it himself back then, but to those closest to him, it didn’t go unmissed. Leia saw it in his actions, heard it in his speech. Just the way he looked out for Luke, as if he was his little brother, was evidence in itself.
A noise in the corner brought Leia out of her temporary musing. Both she and Han turned their heads to face it. Luke flinched at the noise in his sleep, but didn’t wake up. Two-One-Bee came in through the door with a cart as he did every so often to check Luke’s vital signs. The noise of the wheels against the cold tile floor grew in intensity as it approached and the young Jedi stirred in his sleep.
“Great. Wake the kid up when he just went to sleep,” Han muttered. Leia smiled and pulled on his wrist. She had to get him away from Two-One-Bee so he wouldn’t harass the droid. “How is he supposed to get better if he you won’t let him rest?”
Leia led him so he’d be out of the way and kissed him lightly “Speaking of rest, you look like you could use some. I’ll watch him for a while.”
Han hadn’t realized how hungry and tired he was until she mentioned it. He’d been too busy worrying over the kid. When was the last time he’d eaten?
“You sure?”
“I’m sure.” Leia looked tired herself. “For a few hours at least.” She smiled. “I was so excited when you commed, I left without talking to Chewie or the droids. They’ve probably paced a hole in the ship’s floor by now.”
Han smiled and kissed her forehead. “Don’t let Two-One-Bee bother him too much.” He was referring to Luke. “Kid needs his sleep.”
“I won’t,” Leia assured him. And with that Solo left, though reluctantly. Leia went to take his place in the chair beside Luke’s bed. Her brother was awake now and a worried frown creased his face. When he caught sight of her though, it disappeared, replaced by a weak smile.
“Leia,” he croaked.
“Shhh. Just rest, Luke.” She soothed, taking hold of his hand. “Go back to sleep.” The other stubbornly ignored the command though, and surveyed the room as if looking for something.
“Where’d Han go?”
“Back to the Falcon for a while. He needs a rest.”
“Oh.”
Two-One-Bee was finished and Leia moved to gently brush the hair from Luke’s eyes and kiss his forehead. “You need a rest too.”
“Not tired,” Luke whispered, but his face told another story. It wasn’t long before he lost the fight to stay awake and tired, blue eyes fluttered shut. Leia smiled, but it was a bittersweet smile. Her stubborn, brave, little brother didn’t even have the strength to keep his eyes open. A smile, a few words and he was exhausted.
She sighed silently, looking at Luke’s still, small form, tubes running into one arm. He looked so fragile.
But he was already improving, she reminded herself. He’d made a start.
He had a long ways to go. But he’d made a start.

I'm glad Leia is taking care of Han. He'd probably worry himself to exhaustion if she weren't insisting he get the rest he needs.
