	corran: Desmond getting shot in the head is going to be an important event. Yeah? "Important" like he's not going to die, or "important" like his death will send ripples through the lives of the other characters? Juliet is going to have an interesting part to play in this story, but that's all I'm saying. Jacob means turning in more of the way Ben said it to Jack in the Hydra at the beginning of Season 3. He means to the Other's side. Aww... Ben's pitch to Locke in The Brig when he had his dad strapped to those weird ruins was very Sith-like as well. I was wondering if there was a connection. Sun and Claire's story is going to also be an important one in this story. Hmmm Kudos too, on your portrayal of Richard in this series so far. His brother Liam had taken it the hardest. Shortly after the events of Charlie's death, Liam had gone into his room and blew a hole through his head. It killed him instantly. Guilt, I'm guessing, for either not being able to stop him and get him into treatment in Sydney or for not going with him He is a coward, a cheat, a traitor, a junkie. He would save himself over anyone else. Kill people for his own benefit. This man is not a god. He is a demon. Not Charlie! He was always one of my favorites And now, for all intents and purposes, Charlie Pace is dead even to himself. Great opening "Well, I've got chased by a monster, one of the passengers died from a wound, another one drowned yesterday. Jack, our doctor, has found some caves and wants to take us there. I'm going with him." reported Charlie. Figured this was a flashback "We've done that. It's always good to have another point of view. By the way, my name's Bea." And with that, Bea Klugh left Charlie alone. OMG, I think I might see where this is going. Charlie knew about Ethan so he helped kidnap Claire?! 	Desmond's fate will be revealed next chapter. Juliet's role is one of my favorites in this story. Richard has been one of my favorite secondary characters on the show (very creepy in "Cabin Fever"), but I'm glad I'm doing his character justice. Charlie is going to have an interesting part to play in this story. I was very disapointted when they killed Ms. Klugh in "Enter 77". I'm going to be going on a trip, so the next post will not be here on Saturday. However, next Monday, I'll have a DOUBLE POST ready. On Monday, we'll look into Locke, Drad, and Eko's journey to see Jacob, find out Desmond'd ultimate faith, and get an Eko flashback that will blow you away! -----signature----- He changed the rules-Benjamin Linus MacCain/Palin 08! 	Chapter 4 John Locke was on a mission. He didn't know every detail of this plan, but he did know the basics. He was meant to protect the Island, and the people on the Island, from dangerous external forces that might attack it. It was his destiny. People said he was crazy. Maybe he was, that's not the issue at hand. John Locke was meant to protect the Island. However, Locke could not do this by himself. He wold need help, and help he had, in the form of a priest and a scientist. Mr. Eko Tunde was someone that was to be taken seriously. He had killed people before, unlike the other two. He would do anything to protect the Island, and that made him very powerful. His strength, however, was not his primary function. Locke had faltered from the path that was given to him. He had not typed in numbers into a computer, even though he had been warned there would be terrible consequences. Mr. Eko, however, had the faith to get going. H typed the numbers in because he knew that it was of the utmost importance. Out of he three of them, Eko had he most faith. There was a third, and his name was Drad'Meker. He was different from the other two in many ways. He was from a race of creatures called Bothans. Drad'Meker had the least amount of faith in the Island, mostly because he hadn't expierenced the magic of the Island. In fact, the only reason Drad'Meker had any faith in the Island was because of a recurring dream he had. In it, Drad was on the Island and there was a mystical being chanting over and over"Drad'Meker, come to me,Drad'Meker, come to me". These visions gave him the faith he had in the Island. All of these people had faith in the Island. And they thought they knew their destinies. In fact, they knew nothing, and the only one who tell them was a man named Jacob. That was why they were going to see him. Jack Sheperd quickly got to his knees and observed Desmond Hume's body. He was still alive, but holding on by a fiber. Jack saw that the bullet had entered his head. That was definetly not a good sign. He had to remove the bullet if Desmond was going to live. He put his fingers into Desmond's head and yanked the bullet from his brain. Desmond, who had been unconsious, had awoke with a scream. It was a bloodcurdling scream, one that shook Jack's bones. Desmond immediately fell into the unconscious state he had just left. "Sawyer, I need you to go back to beach and get my medical supplies. Take Mandine with you." Jack pointed out the mysterious stranger he had arrived with. "No problem, Doc." Sawyer took a glance at Mandine."Follow me, sweetheart." They walked out of the clearing, leaving Jack with five people he barely knew. He looked at the blonde woman sitting next to him. She was in a state of shock. "What's your name?" Jack asked hurridly. "P-Penelope." "Penelope, I need you to apply pressure to Desmond's head." "I can do that." She slowly began to apply the nessecary pressure. Jack looked at the other three people standing in the clearing. "Who are you all?" "We used to be with the people who attacked your camp. We're fighting against them now. I'm Alex, they're Karl and Emilio." "We'll really need any information you've got." "We'll give it to you. We have plenty." Jack looked towards Ben, who was now unconcious. 	Chapter 5 Mr. Eko was praying. He was on his knees in front of the altar of a church that was not his. He had been having emotional difficulties ever sense his brother had been accidently killed by Nigerian soldiers. Soldiers that had been sent to capture Eko himself. He was praying in front of this altar for his soul, and also for the soul of his brother, Yemi. He had seriously been cotemplating about killing himself. He finished his prayer, and saw that there was someone in the confessional waiting around the corner. Eko quickly slid into the clastrophobic hole, and asked,"Confess your sins." "You might want to do that as well, Mr. Eko." Eko was taken back. The person in the confessional have known Eko's true self. "Who are you?" asked Eko. "Let's just say I'm a friend. Eko, you have a special destiny. Your destiny will be very important in the future. You will not understand it entirely for quite a while. But always have faith that you were meant to do something. I was sent here to tell you this." "How do I know you're telling the truth?" "Go to your altar and look at what it has to show you. I'll com and see you again, Eko. Sooner then you know." Eko retreated out of the confessional and opened the door the confessee was stationed in. There was no one in the small room. Eko wondered what had just happened. Was he going crazy? He looked towards the altar and was shocked to see a Bible opened on top of it. He quickly went to the front of the church to see the advice the Bible had to offer. When he reached the front, he saw it was turned to the Book of Genesis. He looked at the chapter numbers and realized it was the story of Jacob. When he reached the front, he saw it was turned to the Book of Genesis. He looked at the chapter numbers and realized it was the story of Jacob. Interesting I've always wondered about Jacob and the other Biblical connections to the show, particularly in the naming and how, if at all, it will connect to the larger mysteries. Alex will have some interesting information to give jack, and trust me, Ben's not going to like her spilling the beans. Good theories, but one thing: any character, thing, or place mentioned in Season 4 or beyond will be considered non-existent. So it was definetly not Matthew Abaddon, although there is a chance it was Richard. 	Chapter 6 Sun Hwa Kwon awoke to the sound of a door opening. A young woman with black hair strutted into the room, wearing a white lab coat. She had glasses on, but thry did not hide her beauty. Sun barely remembered the events that had led to her being in this dungy room. She had been in her tent when Jin went off to help out their fellow castaways from the threat posed by the sinister Others. She had stayed in her tent, terrified not for herself, but for her unborn baby. After cowering in her tent for fifteen minutes, two muscular men had stepped into her tent and carried her away from the beach after about 2 miles of walking, they sedated her with a large syringe. She had gained consinous for a few moments in the cell before she passed out. Her cell was dripping with leaks from the ceiling, and there was mold all over the walls. She was on a stainless steal table that was the only piece of furniture in her small cell. The woman sat down next to her on the table with a large smile on her face. Sun leaped off the table and retreated to a corner, holding her stomach protectevly. "Don't worry Sun, I'm not here to harm you. I just want to ask you a few questions." Her smile never faltered. "My name's Beth by the way. Beth Roderick." Beth held out her hand for Sun to shake. Sun looked into her kidnapper's eyes and said,"Your people have killed, captured, and beat my people and you expect me to shake your hand." Beth's smile faltered for the first time, and she looked down from Sun's eyes. "I'm sorry for what my people have done to your people. There were a few of us who didn't want to attack you at all. But then our leader, Ben, got wind of it and lets just say it didn't end well." Sun saw the faintest traces of tears in Beth's eyes, but they were gone in a few moments. "Okay, I guess we should start with the questions. How long have you been pregnant?" "How did you know that I was?" "WE have our ways, Sun" "Its been about 2 and a half months." "Have you been experiencing any problems with your child?" "I have in fact. 24/7 nautioness and extreme stomach pains on most days." Beth looked concerned at this, but continued with her questioning. "Is your husband the father of the child?" "Y-Yes!" "Are you certain?" "Absolutely." "Okay, now I"m going to swab your mouth with this Q-tip-" "Your not putting anything in my mouth!" exclaimed Sun. "Sun I really don't want to have to use force to get this Q-tip swabbed." Sun thought this over, then said,"Okay, two things first. One, how did you know about my pregnancy?" Beth hesitated, then said,"We have a mole in your camp." "We killed Ethan, didn't you hear?" "No, we have another one in your camp." Sun was shocked at this news, but asked her second question,"I noticed before I was sedated that two men had my friend Claire. How is she doing?" "Claire is doing just fine. She's being questioned right now actually." "Okay, I'll take your Q-tip and swab." "Thank you, Sun. I'll be back to retrieve it tommorrow." Beth walked out the door, and into a hallway. As she turned a corner, she was stopped by Richard Alpert. "Good Work, Beth." He kissed her on the lips. They looked at each other longingly, then they both walked in opposite directions. I wonder if they're telling the truth about Claire? What's on the agenda for next week? I guess it will be a flashback... 	Yes, Sun is being held in the Hydra. Richard and Beth's realtionship is going to be an integral piece to the story. 	I'd like to have a moment of silence for three dearly departed men. First, John Locke. Mr. Locke was the survivor of a mysterious plane crash. He was last seen on an Island in the South Pacific Ocean. Current whereabouts of the Island are unknown. He mysteriously reappered back in the United States and had word with a few people, including Jack Sheperd, Kate Austin, and Walt Loyd. His funerel was attended by no one. However, the following morning it was found that the funerel home that housed Mr. Locke was broken into and the body was removed. Michael Dawson was killed following the explosion of a Freighter. He was spraying it down with nitrogen, when his supply ran out. He was visited by Christian Sheperd, who told he could"go now". He is survived by a son, Walt Loyd, and a mother. Neither know he is dead, and in fact, think he is alive. Jin Kwon was caught in the explosion that was previously mentioned. It is not known if he lived or died, but the evidence points to the latter. 	Chapter 6 "Wake Up, Charlie." Charlie awoke from his sleep and looked into a pair of eyes that had haunted his dreams many nights on the Island. Those eyes that housed a thousand dark oblivians. "What is it now?" "We need you to collect a blood sample for us. From Sun Kwon. I'm sorry we need you to do this to one of your friends, but its the only way we can protect her. You see, Charlie, we think she's pregnant, and pregnant women die on this Island." Chills ran down Charlie's back. This "job" was becoming harder every day as he grew attached to the people in his camp. "And what if I won't do it?" asked Charlie, threatingly. "If that's what you want, it's fine with me. Of course, I couldn't give you any more drugs." He pulled out three small bags filled with the substance that turned Charlie Pace into a different man. Charlie took the drugs from Benjamin Linus and threw them into the fire outside his tent. They were ashes in seconds. "There, now leave and never come back, you freak of nature." "Well Charlie, if you're going to play rough, I will too. You do remember how we deal with problems?" Charlie remembered Claire being kidnapped and Charlie being strung up from the tree by one of Linus's men named Ethan, who was also in their camp. He had almost called it quits then and there, but they had changed his mind. He also remembered their tricks were the reason Shannon had died so recently. "Okay, I'll get your sample. But how exactly am I supposed to take blood from her?" Ben reached into his pocket and pulled out a large syringe. "You insert this into her, pull back on it, then the blood will be inside of it. I want you to put it next to your tent that night. We'll retrieve it." "And how am I going to get Sun to let me take blood from her? Tell her I"m trying to find out if she's pregnant, and if she'd let me take some blood from her? They already think I'm on drugs again." "I'm sure fate will intervene." he left after saying this. Fate did intervene the very next day. "Hey, Hobbit, come over here." Charlie turned around to see Sawyer gesturing for him to come into his tent. Charlie approached slowly, then hurried into his tent. "What is it, Sawyer?" "Nobody likes me or you anymore. WE've gotta get back in control of this camp. Now I've got a plan, do you think you can help me. It involves faking a kidnap of Sun. I can get your drugs back too, if that's what you want." Charlie couldn't believe his luck. It was almost as if Ben knew this would happen. Charlie was right behind Sun. He quickly put a bag over her head and started to drag her. She was screaming loudly when he accidently hit her head on a tree. He knelled down and quickly put the syringe into her stomach. He quickly filled it up with blood, then took off his coat and threw it away. He could just make out the noises of two people finding Sun before he quickly returned to camp like nothing was wrong.
