	Nadia and Penny had been running the path around the training building for all Dharma Initiative members. They had become friends since starting there together six months previously. I take it this is the flashback... and wow... "A sailboat, I think," replied Penny. No way... "Nadia, Sayid is on that same island. You have to rescue him, because if you don't he will die. When you get there, this man will contact you."He pulled a picture out of his pocket."His name is Benjamin Linus. Godspeed, Nadia," Kelvin Inman said no more. Unbelievable! So Kelvin survived to sail away. Where is this Dharma training facility at? Did Kelivin know that Penny and Nadia would be there? Really great post, corran My mind is whirling. I'm wondering if maybe Kelvin did some time traveling, but I'm probably way off. 	Chapter 13 It was noon. They had all gathered back together, planning to discuss what to do about the Others. Sayid had informed Jack in the morning that Ben had been untied from the tree. Sayid had surmised that the traitor Juliet had mentioned had freed Ben in the middle of the night. Jack had taken a little walk down the beach, to see something. He was making a plan, and it was a good one, he thought. Now that they were all gathered he would discuss the plan in detail. "As you all know, a group of people who live on this Island came and attacked our camp a couple of nights ago. We cannot let this happen again. They took two of our people, we have one of theirs. I plan on rescuing Sun and Claire. Juliet has informed me that they are currently being held on a smaller island about two miles of the coast. I want to trick them into believing that Juliet was set free, and captured one of us. Who wants to volunteer for the job?" Sawyer automatically raised his hand."I'll go get 'em back, Doc," Jack had expected this."Sayid and Nadia will be tailing you, and if Juliet does anything funny, Sayid will take care of her." Juliet was smiling softly, even though she was tied tightly to a tree. "Me and a group of people are going to go to their camp, where we will stow away on the submarine, go back to the mainland, and send rescue." "Hurley I want you to go with Alex, Karl, and Emilio to this runway. I don't want anything else to hurt us while were here. I want you to take Mandine and the-uh Wookiees with you too." "Roger, dude,"Hurley agreed. "The rest of you, I want you to move down the beach a bit. There is a heavily wooded beach area around there, and it would give you more cover if they decide to attack," "Who's going to drive the submarine?" asked Juliet. "Answer your own question," replied Jack. "I would get Richard Alpert to do it. There was only one other person who could drive the submarine was Ethan," "What does this Richard look like?" asked Jack. "Black hair, strong build. He hardly ages," Jack nodded. "Tommoroww, I'll go to the town. Sawyer, I want you to go with Sayid tonight," "Aye, Aye, DOC,"said Sawyer Sarcastically. Given Jack's history, that doesn't exactly instill me with confidence, but I guess I'll wait and see I want to trick them into believing that Juliet was set free, and captured one of us. Okay, I actually love this plan and it's got me so pumped now It feels like the build up to a finale Though it's probably too early for that. Anyway, fantastic post You did a great job with all the characters. Tough to show all their personalities in scenes with all the characters but you managed to do it, using a lot of the subtle nuances like Juliet's smile. 	This is all actually building up to the climax, but it will take longer then it seems. I think it will be interesting how everything turns out, very interesting indeed. As a surprise(and since I'll be on vacation next week ) we will be getting a post today and possibly tommorow as well, depending on my mood. Chapter 14 "Charlie?" Charlie Pace awoke from his sleep to the silent voice that had awoken him. He looked at the person standing just inside his tent. This was not one of them he had seen before. "Why do you people have to always come in the middle of the bloody night?" "I think that speaks for itself," the man said with a smile on his face. "Well, first off, why did your Ethan go off his rocker and hang me from a tree?" "Sorry about that. Only a select few know about you. Ethan didn't." The man looked a little saddenend in the eyes. "What did you all do to Claire? Because I'm not so sure I want to be working with kidnappers." "Don't worry, we took Claire because we had to help her baby. You see, babies don't do so well on this island. Anyway, thats why I'm here. Ethan has betrayed us. He is not going to help anyone but himself. He wants to experiment on Claire, and thats not a good thing. He is probably going to come after her and the baby. If he does, we want you to kill him." Charlie stared at him, mouth hanging open. "Now look. I've done everything you asked, but I won't kill for you. I'm not a murderer!" "If her gets Claire, he could very possibly kill her and the baby. Do you really want to take that chance?" Charlie had grown very attached to Claire. He wasn't going to let anything or anyone harm her. "If he comes, I'll kill him, but not for you, for Claire," "Your doing the right thing, Charlie," The man came and patted Charlie on the shoulder. Richard Alpert then left the tent. The next day, Charlie did what he had to. TO BE CONTINUED... You're doing such a great job with the characterizations Richard Alpert then left the tent. Always so friendly. Terrific post Loved the Charlie flashback and some of the holes it fills in about Charlie/Clair/Ethan and what all went down. I really like the idea of Richard asking Charlie to kill Ethan for him but I'm glad you didn't change Charlie's main motivation. He really does care about Claire and the baby. Great job! "John, you have to understand, what you are seeing is different from what I am seeing and what he is seeeing," Eko pointed at Drad'Meker. Drad was staring at the man before him, except it wasn't a man, it was his wife. The only problem was that his wife had died in a shuttle crash almost ten years ago. He'd never really gotten over her death. "And what does that mean?" questioned Locke. "We all have demons John, he is the face of them," Eko replied grimly, looking into his dead brother's eyes. "Thats right John. I am the embodiment of your personal demons. Sorry about that," "Okay, well I'm here now. What did you want to see me for?" asked Locke. "Well, first things first," Jacob reached over to a table sitting next to his chair, picked up a revolver, and shot Drad in the chest twice. Locke ran at Jacob, grabbed the revolver, and pointed it at his head. "Go ahead and do it John. You'll never get the answers you've always wanted," "SHUT UP! Eko, is he dead?" "NO John, but he's passing," Drad'Meker had believed it was his destiny to come to this Island. If this was why he came, he wasn't angry, he was just disppointed that he had lived for no reason, that he was just an empty spot in the universe. "Hope you guys find what your looking for. But why was Drad dragged her just to die? After all his visions? I hope we end up getting an answer like we eventually did with Boone's death. Tremendous post, corran I'm totally perplexed but I can't wait for more. When are we going to get the next cabin scene? 	Thought you'd like that one. Drad's death will be explained, but maybe not for awhile, like how Boone's death saved Desmond, but we didn't find out till next season. Benjamin Linus was on his knees, proposing to the one person in his world he actually loved. "Ben, I-I don't know what to say," Tears were forming in her eyes. "Just say yes, and I'll never ask anything of you again," Tears were forming in Ben's eyes as well. "Yes, I'll marry you!" He placed the ring he had had imported to the Island from the mainland on her soft finger. The diamond gleamed, like the tears that cascaded down the two lovers faces. Ben embraced her, feeling the growth that was coming from Annie's stomach. His child. He was sure he would love it as much as he loved Annie. They were in the gazebo, cliche Ben knew, but romantic just the same. "When should we tell everyone?" "Whenever you want too," Ben was lost in a haze of love. "I'll tell my mom and dad tonight," "Yeah, I'll go tell my Dad too," Annie couldn't see the pain that clouded his eyes, he hid it very well. "Dad, Mom, I'm getting married," She had set them down to tell them the news. "WHAT?" Olive Goodspeed yelled. "Honey, that's great news. It is Ben isn't it?" Horace Goodspeed was much more enthusastic then Annie's mother. "Annie, you can not marry at this age. Your just seventeen years old!" "Olive, you were sixteen when we were married, and we need just fine. Besides, Ben is a great guy. More then I can say for his father," "WEll, I'm going to marry him, no matter what you say Mom. Dad I'm glad you agree with my choice," With that she stormed out of the living room, "Teenagers," Olive muttered.
