Kick, this is even better than I imagined. You are given Soontir and Jag the pages their characters

Jagged took a deep breath. He had known this question would come and he was prepared for the hell his answer would soon bring down on him. He hoped that he could make his father quickly see that his decision had been the correct one. "She will not be extradited to Imperial courts Sir, I've signed a waiver."
"Daala is going to execute her herself then," Soontir shrugged. “The result is the same.”
“She has been pardoned Sir.” Jag quickly blurted out while his resolve was strong, “and I have agreed.”
As put out as I am by Tahiri's character right now this was just the thing to do. Did I mention what
good work you do?

Powerful father son stuff! You are nailing my idea of Soontir and Jag's characters.

As a rule Chiss didn't feel anger but Soontir knew that at times it had taken a toll Jag and he had became frustrated if not angry. The incident towards the end of the Yuuzhan Vong War, when he and Jaina had been granted a rare two day leave and had been photographed on a beach with less than swimming attire on had nearly exhausted his extensive fuse.
Jaina had thought it funny. A reporter had quoted her as saying, "Doesn't he look good though? I mean what's a girl to do?"
A perfect example of why they are so good together. This is so much fun Kick!!

Wow. The conversation with Jag and his dad...I was laughing at how worked up he was getting Soontir. Pretty freaking funny!
Moff Fel closed his eyes and turned his head away unable to take the look of betrayal that would overcome Soontir’s face as he replied. “Kyp…Durron.”

After along moment of watching his father lost in thought, Jagged finally spoke. "I too wish it was Davin standing here and breathing air instead of me Sir. He would have been much more suited to this."
The words stung Soontir more than Jag would ever know. He loved all his children the same as any good parent did. Davin had been more 'his' child. They had had more in common and had connected on more levels, and he knew that he would never really recover from that boy’s death.
However, he would never wish to trade Jaggeds life for Davins and knew what Davin would have said to the mere thought of it. His eyes narrowed, "Don't you ever say that again Jagged...ever." 
"You mean you've pried Wyn away from Knight Horn." I bet that was painful.
Soontir rolled his eyes. "No he'll be there as well. I wouldn't want either of them to go into irreversible withdrawal after all." LOL Man, Soontir is kicking it with the jokes.
“Yes Sir. I’m in a bit of a predicament. As I’m sure you know Darth Caedus was an idiot…as a military strategist he was completely incompetent.”
Jags father shrugged, “why are you telling me what I already know.”

You can definitely tell that they're related.
Tahiri going undercover on the Moff Council is interesting, as is her being under Kyp's supervision. I probably would have had Corran be her mentor again, but there's a certain amount of sense in Kyp being in charge of her.
The Love Commander is good for their honeymoon (assuming they can't get a suite on the Errant Venture). I guess that means that Ben is getting the Jade Shadow?

Wow this was very cool. Very interesting discussions. Their humor is very intriguing and I am very much enjoying this relationship they have. It is much better than the the harsh indifference that they are most often portrayed as having. HA! the reference to Valin and Wyn was awesome! Will there be some scenes with them? That would be fun to read! Anyway, awesome post!! And I have to say, I finished Invincible in perfect timing!!

In my sleep deprived state I beta'd part 2 and said "Here, post this! People want to read it!" and she was like "Ummm...yeah, but I need post the first part first." And I was like 
MORAL OF THIS STORY: Do not allow sleep deprived xray techs to beta your epic length work. Because they give it back to you ackbasswards.

My mother was famous for ass-whipping.
She busted my ass at church one time.
I was like seven and threw one of my tantrums and stayed in the parking lot because she wouldn't let me have a whole piece of gum and only gave me a half-piece. She went to pick me up from Sunday school to take me to church and discovered that I wasn't there. Naturally she panicked.
And she found me sitting outside playing in the gravel.
She was not pleased.
She took me in the restroom and busted my little ass....well.
And there were people that I knew in there of course. 
Of course my mother busting my ass is actually infamous being as though thats how I got my nickname Kick.
