I'm all caught up!!!
Oh, I love Jag's plan for Tahiri... 
The father/son interaction was great. I loved how Jag stood up to him and then made him Grand Admiral... 
The Party was just great.... I really loved Valin and Jag's scene...it reminded me of Roan and Draco... 
I can't wait for more!!!

I think they're right though.
It's not exactly Jag-like.
I think what I do sometimes, without even realizing it, is superimpose Sean into Jag.
"Awe," is something O'Shann always says when he knows I'm up to something, or I'm asking him for stuff.  And he means it's like..."Awe"...  not "Awe,"   
What I'm afraid of is that once MF comes out and J/J are married and most likely on Bastion, is that it will get worse. So I'm going to make an conscious effort now to not do that anymore.
Anyways...I think that's what is happening in this story and my writing as a whole.
I'll see what Tahi says, she's a big Jag fan to.

Thanks. Overall the reaction has been very good about that. Tahiri will be coming up in a couple of chapters, I think. A little conflict between she and Jaina...Jag serving as the stable factor.

Oh, yeah...lots of snark for Ben.
Here is what I think.
I think DR is going to move the franchise forward and quickly with Jag/Jaina and Ben.
And like they did with Jaina, I think they will bring in their own character for Ben, I really do. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see the little girl he saved in Exile again in like 10 - 15 canon years.

That was great, Kick. So nice to see Jaina at peace, and I can see her reasoning about having a private wedding.
The dialogue was very cool.  I especially enjoyed the Soontir-Jaina scene, and Soontir's appreciation of her abilities.
The boy-talk was excellent and amusing as always. Great mood in the post - kind of healing after all the angst. Very nice.

Lovely post! I just loved all the festivities. And Kyp with TK? Okay! (I don't think enough authors put them together. In my mind, they were better than TK and Jacen!) Loved the little bit with Jaina and Soontir. Not enough of those two, I say!
Sorry it took me so long to catch up, life's been a little busy recently and all my readings have been falling behind.

I agree! I think that's a very interesting daughter and father-in-law dynamic, that is just loaded with potential.

Before Jaina could reply the older version of Jags voice spoke behind her, "Don't be a glutton, Jagged. I think I'll have the next one."
Moff Fel bowed and released Jaina's hand into his father's and walked towards the concession table trying to avoid the gaze of Chief of State Daala.
Can't believe Daala's still trying that even on his wedding day!
"I'm listening Great One."
She smiled at that. "My mother will release a formal engagement statement for Jag and I and will answer pre-arranged questions relating to the two of us only. And then Jag and I will sit for a private photo-op," she paused and then continued, "You can release all of those images that you want to...paint them on billboards for all I care, until your heart is content." She winked at him, "I think that is a pretty good compromise don't you?"
"I believe I do yes. As you wish Great One."
It seems the old title has returned...
Before Jaina could reply, her father walked up behind Soontir. "Hey, it's my turn Baron. Move it."
"Of course Captain Solo," he bowed to Jaina. "Great One." He then turned and walked away.
Loved Han's reaction vs. Soontir's reaction.
In the end Moff Fel had been unable to dodge Chief of State Daala and had ended up dancing with her while his father whisked Jaina across the floor. However, after one dance he had had enough of her attempts to put her hands down his pants and rather rudely excused himself, making his way to the alcohol inclined table. There Jedi Master Kyp Durron stood surveying the crowd. His dark blue robes were neatly pressed and accented his green eyes and graying dark hair.
Jag walked up and filled a glass downed it and then another. He was well on his way to topping off the third glass when Durron spoke. "To be molested at one’s own engagement party that must be rough."
"Don't kriff with me Durron I'm not in the mood. That woman is asinine."
Poor Jag.
Slowly Kyp took a swallow of his own drink, "Yeah, tell me about it."
Jagged winced, that was a thoughtless comment considering that Daala had once tortured Kyp Durron.
"I'm sorry Kyp that was inconsiderate."
Durron lifted his glass looked sideways at Jag and winked, "No problem Jaggie, I have thick skin."
Jag nodded. "What are you doing over here anyway? Plotting to take over the galaxy?"
"Not on my off day."
Fel snorted. "I didn't know the devil had an off day."
"I didn't know that Durasteel could grow.......personality."
"Oh, I have plenty I assure you Durron. You just make sure you teach Tahiri how to alter her appearance."
Loved the Jag/Kyp banter here.

Then he remembered little things over the last several weeks between Kyp and the Queen Mother... just comments or looks that most people would miss as had he until it had all been put into context...Jag's eyes widened and he spluttered out, "No way." Once again he slammed his drink on the table. "You're determined to kill me, aren't you Durron?"
Hmmm...Kyp and TK? I guess I never really thought about that after reading the YJK books. Great pairing, though.
Can't wait for more!

Yes it has. I think Jay wanted to make it clear that she'll stand up for herself. Very important factor when dealing with in-laws.

Hurrah, I come back from vacation to an update!
