The next chapter is centered heavily on Jag's internal POV of himself, his life and his love for Jaina. Beware, he is different as you will see him become in this 'fic.
It's not always going to be nice and pretty. He and Jaina are not always going to be in perfect maritial bliss; there will be problems as duty conflicts with time spent together which is a problem that they have always had. There will be the infertility problem and personality clashes.
Anyone whose married can appreciate that it becomes difficult living with someone and accepting that person as they are and not as you would want them to be...as they travel down this road called life together.
Jagged Fel is going to be Emperor, and with that will come alot of tough decisions and moral calls that somtimes there is no right or wrong answer. We can see this in every day life as our world leaders make decisions that affect millions or even billions. Sometimes it isn't pretty and the people who make the decision have to seperate themselves from it.
HOWEVER, what I do promise is to try - from my POV - keep the moral center that I see as Jagged Fel, and will as always be true to the character as I perceive him even if the decisions he sometimes makes are brutal or controversial, they will be done on what I think this man would do in that given situation. Not what I would HAVE him do, or what I WANT the character to be. That's a mistake I think is often made by fanfiction writers and I try my best never to do that to a character. I try to write them as they are, not what Kick wants in complete AU fantasy where you just attach a characters name to what you personally want them to be. I think that compromises the character and the writer.
I've spent alot of time the last couple of weeks rereading parts of the NJO, DN, and of course LotF is always at my side while reading, writing or researching. I've tried to get inside this mans head; how the thinks, how he acts and what fuels him. And hope I've done a reasonable job in this next chapter and the ones beyond.

Why would someone be surprised? He's just as freaking human as anyone else, even if he was raised with the Chiss. and he's just had the woman he loves, more than life itself, come back in pieces and having lost a child he never had a chance to get to know. I'd say he handled it predictiably. Just because he doesn't like to show his emotions, doesn't mean he has none. And if someone has complained, let me know. I'll go all karate on their ass!

I don't think so. Bacta is not a 'cure all', or at least that has always been my impression. I think it's just a really souped up version of high-dosed antibiotics.
