	This story is awesome! Here are my thoughts on it: You'll have to do better than that." Han tried to muster as much bravado as he could still manage. "I was tortured by Vader himself, pal. He didn't get a thing out of me— what hope do you have?" He left out the fact that Vader hadn't asked him a single question during that nasty session on Bespin— Vox didn't need to know that. Such typical Han bravado. Still, it really made me laugh. That torture scene had me on the edge of my seat. Poor man! Who sent you here to capture the Raider?" A grin formed on Han's face as he fought not to show how bad it hurt to smile, and flashed a row of blood-smeared teeth. "Grand Admiral Thrawn." Thre's just something so perversely ironic about Thrawn getting involved! I love it! "Have it your way." Vox turned to the torture droid again. "Cut out Captain Solo's eye." UGH! That was sooooo nasty, but realistic for sure. Of course the last laugh is on the Raithians! "Oh no! I'm doomed!" Comic relief…I love 3PO. That was so perfect with him coming out so innocently and the the Tenandro combat droids coming out to really lay it down…cool! "It's a trap!"... Everything was being sucked towards the open starfield, and Jer'um let himself go, tumbling out into the void in a hail of flotsam and Raithian bodies. I liked having that scene from his point of view. Even if he died in his sacrifice at the end. I think his perspective added to thetention there. while the daughter of Darth Vader danced through the onslaught, her electric blade whirling around her like a shield to bat away the dashes of crimson energy. That’s my girl…it’s when Leia’s working like this that I know SW really did have a purpose. I love love love that she leads the mission. I hate how Luke is always uber Jedi man. Give her a chance! YAY! Fabulous action update!!!!!!! -----signature----- Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there, with open arms and open eyes.

I love that guy Aie - reminds me of the scene in ANH when Vader tortures Leia. Yeah, I gave the Raithian torture droid similar gadgets. Yes, that rang very true. Han has been tortured more times than most have had hot dinners, but betrayal by a son is much worse. He does take quite a beating, doesn't he? And yeah, it would be hard to imagine much worse than Jacen's betrayal Gruesome torture scene. I hope it wasn't too bad. I wanted to make Raithian captivity a scary thing though. I like the fact that Vox is onlt too well aware of Han's reputation. The Raithians have strict orders regarding the Solos. I'm sure they know all about Han. Golly - I thought poor old Han was going to become another Booster for a moment!!! Saved by Lando - or was he? LOL LOL, yeah. Han would look pretty cool with an eyepatch. Han and Lando were kind of putting on a play here, buying time to get everyone into position and convincing Vox they had something very valuable in the Falcon. I liked that backstory on Je'rum - so he's hooked on spice. Oooh. Yes, our first glimpse into the mind of a regular Raithian and he's sad, sad, sad. Maybe we'll find out more about why this is later... Absolutely loved that bit. Hehe. Threepio knows how to lead a charge. Classic Star wars. Thanks! I like the fact that only Anakin can understand the Raithian tech. Me too. I always liked that ability of his and wish they'd done more with it in canon. Great action scene there in the hangar with the YVH droids, and I giggled at old C3PO. Such fun. Glad you liked it I think Leia's right to question Thrawn's motives and his apparent complicity. Me too. I don't trust that guy... I like that she's so compassionate to Valin. What a woman. Leia's the best And what a chapter! It's not like they can't just get a fusion cutter and force the cargo hold open... Admiral Vox is afraid Han has packed the holds with some sort of explosive that will detonate if they try to break in and take out the whole hangar or more of his warship, but he's afraid to just dump the ship out of the hangar for fear that Han's kids are on board, knowing how valuable Jaina and Anakin are to the Raithians. So Vox is in a tough position and needs the codes from Han. Thanks for reading! Spike: Fourth. Good job And I loved the appearance by the Tendrando Arms Droids. We'll be seeing more of them. Raithians got owned! Yeah they did. That's what happens when you go up against Grand Admiral Thrawn Vox better hand over the entire fleet to Han, now I somehow doubt he will, but he may not have a choice here in a bit Thanks for reading Cyn: Valin! Kyp! Kyle! Mara! Leia! Awesomeness! Hehe. Nothing like a Jedi commando team to speed things up. The addition of Mr. Threep leading the charge was what put it into badass territory. He's their secret weapon And Han...wow, that man has some serious cajones to volunteer to be tortured so that the strike team can land. There's taking it for the team, and then there's serious disregard for one's one well being. Han is fearless For the most part I kind of picture Thrawn playing mind games with him to get him to do it. But considering how many time's Han's been tortured, maybe it's a sign of brain damage? He's got a hard head, he'll be okay. Great battle scene and an interesting kink in the Raithan armour. Very interesting indeed. Niiice post. Thanks! btw i would like to say quite loudly STUPID ANAKIN, also stuipd thrawn. you think someone as smart as thrawn would realize that anakin would go flying in to save his parents. so why didn't he tell him aobut it? Sorry for the confusion, but it will be cleared up in the next post— Thrawn did tell Anakin, Anakin knows all about his father's mission. He just doesn't trust Thrawn's plan and is afraid things will go awry without him and his dad will get killed in the process, probably because of what happened to Tahiri. This is why Jaina kept insisting that he not go after Han. She's been in the military and has learned to trust the command structure— Anakin never has. btw nice interrogation scene. would han really have let them cut his eye out over a code that they WANTED to give to the raithiens? No, he and Lando were just playing their parts, making the Raithians think they didn't want to give up the codes. They needed to buy time. If Han and Lando had just opened the cargo holds when they were first captured and the YVH droids came storming out, the Raithians would have just vented the hangar and kill them all like Commander Jer'um tried to do. They needed time and the element of surprise to get the YVH's to the hangar control booths first so they could upload Anakin's override program and shut the hangar doors if the contaiment seal went down. I have to agree They don't stand a chance now. I've played Jedi Knight enough times to know that the droids are gonna get bored 'cause there's nothing for them to kill. Yeah. It was a long fic nor Jacen's betrayal (I had expected you to pick a different Solo thanks to canon). Yeah, I almost scrapped the whole thing because of canon. I had outlined all of this back in January '05, so when DN came out and it was obvious Jacen was going to become a future villain in canon, I considered tossing out the whole idea or going a different way because I figured everyone would just think this was a lame ripoff of canon. Thankfully, Thrawn McEwok talked me out of it at the time. I'm really glad as it's a very different story from LotF, and it's fun watching people compare and contrast them. Very dark stuff you got going, and I can only wonder what is going to transpire in this one. I am sure I'm in for one heckuva rollercoaster ride. So many things that need to be resolved, and I have a feeling you won't be done yet for a long, long time. This fic and one more story to go Lots of things to be revealed between now and then. 	"You keep asking me, but you keep hitting me in the head— how the hell am I supposed to remember?" So very Han Solo. Vox turned impatiently to the brute lurking over Han. "I don't think we're quite getting through to him, Ensign. Perhaps another injection will dull his wit." An impossible task Vox signaled to one of the soldiers behind Han and in the next instant, he felt the butt of a blaster rifle slamming into the base of his skull. Pain vibrated through Han's bones as he felt his teeth rattle and his vision blurred into trembling streaks of white light. That one hurt. For a moment, he thought he saw Jacen in the quivering blear, and that was somehow brought him more pain. He'd held on to a glimmer of hope that Jaina was wrong about her twin brother when she'd told them what happened on Togoria, that his son hadn't really betrayed them all. But in the months since he fled into the Unknown Regions with Leia and the Jedi, he'd seen Jacen on the HoloNet, at the helm of the Raithian forces on Denon, making raids against Jedi sympathizers and helping to put Corellia back under Galactic Alliance control. It was that image he saw, Jacen dressed in a Raithian combat suit, his lightsaber blazing... their little boy a Sith. He still couldn't believe it. If he could just get to Jacen and shake some sense into him. He knew that this Darth Malig had done something to him. The boy he and Leia had raised would never do this... Eventually he blinked the image away and everything went back to the undulating haze of white. Poor Han. He’s going through a lot more pain than just the physical. And he’s getting the brunt of it while his partner in crime is getting off easy. Han might have the famous Solo luck, but Lando isn’t short on luck either. BTW, is there a reason why Han saw Jacen dressed as a Raithian and a Sith at that particular moment? "You'll have to do better than that." "Some of us weren't born ugly." I can so hear Han saying that. "Vox," Han said, stopping the Raithian in his tracks. "When I get out of here, I'm coming to find you." "Right, when you steal my ship, correct?" Vox snorted. "If you pull off that trick, I'll hand over control of the whole fleet to you." Haha! Vox has no clue. My cred’s on Han getting a fleet. "Oh no! I'm doomed!" The droid cried, its arms raised above its shiny head as best its rigid form could allow and waving slightly in fear. "Please don't shoot! I'm armed only with fluency in six million forms of communication!" LOL! This made me laugh so hard. I love the way you insert in humor during the most tense of moments. In that moment, Jer'um knew that he and everyone else in the hangar was going to die. Admiral Vox should have jettisoned the Millennium Falcon when he had the chance. The red-eyed commander fished the comlink from his belt and tried to speak loud enough to be heard over the cacophony enveloping the hangar. "It's a trap!" He yelled into the little device. "Open the seal! Flush the hangar!" By the time Jer’um realizes it’s a trap, it’s of course too late for all of them. Great action sequence with the Jedi team, and it was wonderful to see Leia leading the charge. "Superficial damage?" Came a distressed, but familiar voice. Leia turned to see C-3PO waddling toward her through the crowd of war droids and Jedi. "Look at the blaster scarring on my left arm covering! The energy transducer was almost fried... this will take weeks to polish out!" The Tendrando Arm's droid just stared at Threepio in bewilderment, before the protocol droid seemed to notice Leia standing beside him for the first time. "Oh, Princess Leia, thank goodness you're here," he cried. "I'm afraid I almost perished leading the charge, but I think I must have been quite effective." "I'm sure you struck terror in their hearts," Leia replied, patting the loyal droid on his arm. This whole scene was just hilarious! C-3P0’s aura of self-importance at “leading the charge” (giggle), fussing over the damage to his covering, the Tedandro droid’s bewilderment, and of course, Leia typically knowing exactly how to deal with him and the situation. LOL. Loved it. It doesn’t seem possible, but this story just keeps getting better and better. 	Best Chapter so far! Loved Han's lines especially. Kind of wierd that the first chapter featuring Han is called Raiders Tendrando droids are always the best. Can't believe so many Jedi came on the mission when they could have just sent Kyle Thrawn is reminding me a lot of Ben in a way. He's good now, but could turn bad. 	Rock it! Loved the action-packed update. Han's wit was sharp as ever and the Jedi kicked! I loved the glitterstim-laden soldier POV. An excellent way to show the scene unfold and give us another perspective. Well executed writing, Wes! Between you and me... It's good to see Wrev up and in the action. I was concerned they wouldn't be able to fund a replacement arm. He has to live long enough for me to see another angsty Jaina/Wrev interaction. Last time we saw them together, was the kiss. I may be addicted to your romantic angst. You make it so believable, I don't know who to root for. dodges Chimpo and the anti-Wrev reader-faction Moving on: when they said they were going to take Han's eye, I had Colonel Tigh flashbacks - but then I remembered you don't watch BSG...
