zonzo posted: The battle had been raging for three weeks strait now, and Luke was tired of it. Him, Lando, who had decided to jump back into his general’s outfit, and New Republic agent Kyle Katarn had cooked up a plan to take Kraiden in his own base.
zonzo posted: As Luke and the strike team piled out of their transport, the familiar sounds of war filled his ears. In the far-off distance, he could hear explosions and screams, and above him, he could see X-wings and TIE fighters twisting and turning, fighting for supremacy, their laser cannons blazing the whole time.
zonzo posted: As the team moved through the wet and musty sewers, Kyle started reminiscing about one of his earlier missions. “… I was supposed to capture some Imperial scientist, but the guy decided to build his lab in the Nar Shaddaa sewers. The things I saw in there…” Lando made a snear. “Sounds like a vacation…”
zonzo posted: Lando rolled his eyes. “Jeez, I would have at least put us in the Ladies room.”
zonzo posted: I’ve got a bad feeling about this.
zonzo posted: “I wonder…” Kraiden mused. “If I were to take you back to Coruscant with me, would I get a full pardon? I’m sure our lovely Sate Pestage and the High Moff council would just love to get their hands on you.” He started chuckling. “Yes, that sounds like a grand idea! But what about your friends… Who do we have here?” He asked, examining Luke’s two partners.
zonzo posted: “Ah, I recognize you! Lando Calrissian, correct? The one who blew up the second Deathstar?” Lando gave him the stink eye. “Yeah, that was me. I also like gambling, tarisian ale, and I hear I can give a good massage if you’re interested.”
zonzo posted: Any extraordinary feats like your friends here?” The Admiral asked, looking right into Kyle’s eyes. “Well, I can look at you and not cry, so I guess that counts as extraordinary.”
zonzo posted: This made the Admiral skip chuckling and go straight to full-out laughter. “Skywalker, do you always affiliate yourself with such stupendously entertaining company?” He asked, almost gagging the words out. Luke’s expression stayed hard as stone. “Well, these are the good ones. You should see Han.”
