Title: For All Seasons
Author: brodiew
Timeframe: LOTF era
Characters: Anakin Solo, Tahiri Vela
Genre: romance
Keywords: humor, verbal sparring, romance
Notes: This came to me from nowhere tonight around 9 pm. It is a drabbles set of the four season with a couple of additions. Please enjoy Anakin and Tahiri for all seasons.
Spring
“What’s wrong with asking you to tiptoe through the tulips?” Anakin Solo asked disappointed by her negativity.
“It’s undignified,” Tahiri Vela replied sharply. “And, it feels unnatural.”
“You never tiptoed in the desert?” He retorted. “I thought the Tuskens were masters of stealth.”
“Stealth, yes. Silly looking frivolous dancing, no.”
“If I were asking you to dance, even in the slightest, I’d be asking you to ‘skip to my lou, my darling.’”
“Who is Lou? And, skipping is worse than tiptoeing, Anakin.”
“If you don’t want to tiptoe, just walk into the flowers. I can’t think of anything more brilliant.”
Summer
“I want to get you another bikini,” Anakin said, out of the blue, as he and Tahiri strolled down the promenade of a local shopping mall. “The yellow one is getting old.”
“So you say,” she replied, disagreeing. “It still does the trick. You still can’t keep your eyes off of me when I wear it.”
“That has nothing to do with purple polka dots, trust me,” he replied, grinning shamelessly.
“Even so, I’ve seen you look at me in a certain way, while wearing the bikini, that I rarely see when I’m wearing nothing at all.”
“There is that.”
Hot
“You’re hot,” Tahiri said, looking at Anakin, lying poolside, wearing nothing but a red cargo swimsuit.
“The sun is beating down pretty hard,” he said, opening one eye and squinting at her.
“That’s not what I mean and you know it,” she replied, slapping his sun exposed abs.
“Hey!” he blurted, surprised. He rubbed the now red skin to ease the pain. “What was that for?”
“Fun.”
“I can think of better ways to have fun,” he replied with a wink.
She rolled her eyes and reached for something behind her. It was a volley ball.
“Me too. Let’s go.”
Fall
Standing just inside the entry way of an abandoned Imperial bunker, he watched as sheets of torrential rain pelted Endor’s surface.
“How about a jog?” Tahiri teased from inside.
“No, on days like today, a good holo film is in order.”
He turned to meet her approach. “Good, morning, ‘Ri.”
“What film would you like to watch?” she asked.
He pulled her close, wrapping his arms around her waist, and kissing her tenderly on the lips. Holding her tightly, he moved from the protection of the alcove. Rain drenched the two bodies pressed together in a passionate embrace.
“A Romance.”
Winter
First rain, now snow. Endor was supposed to be a cool climate with sunny days and warm weather. Or perhaps that all his father rememb-
The snow ball contacted his face with such force, that the surprise of it knocked him from his feet.
“Take that, Dummy!” Tahiri shouted from behind a nearby tree.
“I wasn’t ready!” he yelled, running toward her.
She felt him coming and giggled as she darted into the clearing. He collided with her at a good pace and they both went down.
“No freebies, Anakin,” She breathed excitedly. “First contact is the winner. Now strip.”
Cold
“Have I ever told you that you remind me of your uncle?” Tahiri said, her mouth only centimeters from Anakin’s.
“No, I think you left that one out,” he breathed, holding her as close. “And this might not be the best time.”
“Do you have somewhere you have to be?” she asked through a wry smile.
“In fact, I do. But the wait time is a killer,” he retorted.
“Let’s hope not,” she replied. “What would Luke Skywalker do?”
“Probably, trudge aimlessly into the icy barren landscape, hoping for either a Force fueled vision or a friend to rescue him.”

- what a treat! These are fantabulous and I love every one of them. You capture the fun, teasing, sexy side of both of them. Wonderful - made me feel all fuzzy.

*slides in*
I'm just about to knock off from work for the day, so I'll read & reply to these when I get home.
I can't wait!
Ant.
EDIT:
I'm back!
These were great,
brodiew
!!
A lot of fun to read, with lots of nice snippets of humour set amongst some really sweet scenes.
Classic A/T, really enjoyable.
There were lots of great lines in there, but this one right at the end really made me laugh out loud:
“Let’s hope not,” she replied. “What would Luke Skywalker do?”
“Probably, trudge aimlessly into the icy barren landscape, hoping for either a Force fueled vision or a friend to rescue him.”
LOL!
It's always a laugh when you can poke fun at Luke.
Fabulous job!!

Tahi:
I’m glad you enjoyed them, Tahi. My intent was warm fuzzies, but I found myself making it too much verbal sparring, so I brought it back around to the romance.
Jedi-Ant:
I’m so glad to see you here, Ant. It was hard to resist a little jab at Luke, consider our couple was trapped in an icy situation.
zonzo:
Thanks for reading, zonzo. I appreciate it.
Lonewolf89:
Thank you for stopping in, Lonewolf. Thuough I love Luke, he’s good to poke fun at now and again.
SilSolo:
Thanks, Sil!
