Yuuzhan Vong Worldship
Baanu Rass, Myrkr orbit,
Near the Voxyn Queen’s Lair
Jaina was falling apart inside. Jacen could feel her anguish through their twin bond. Anakin was, in all probability, dead. He couldn’t be. He’d always been there. Little brother. Jacen couldn’t remember a time when he hadn’t. Okay, they’d been separated frequently, but he’d always been there, on the edge of his consciousness. Now he wasn’t. There was a gap where his brother used to exist.
They were nearing the Voxyn Queen’s lair. Jacen could feel the death around the chamber. He gulped. As they entered, it felt like the entire strike team was surprised by the huge chamber that opened up before them. The Vong didn’t build grand chambers where none were needed. The air was dank and smelled of rotting flesh. In the darkness, something growled. Jacen moved forward. The stench of flesh and death was nearly tangible now. Jacen jumped as he caught a sight of a massive, malevolent eye. Suddenly, the eye disappeared at the same moment that Jacen’s danger sense exploded. The fluorescent fungus covering the walls flared to brilliant life. The Voxyn Queen reared up before them.
“Tahiri, no!”
Turning, Jacen’s slowed time perception made him watch as Tahiri stepped into the Queen’s path. She’s going to be flattened! Jacen thought.
“TAHIRI!” yelled Jaina.
But Tahiri seemed oblivious to the rest of the team’s shouts. She just stood, as the massive Voxyn toppled towards her.

Kenobi- you're on the list!
The TARDIS
As the TARDIS doors burst open, The Doctor bounded in, followed by Jenny and Jack, who was carrying Anakin over his shoulders.
“Put ‘im there, Jack.” Said The Doctor, producing medical equipment from somewhere in his bigger-on-the-inside pockets.
As Jack deposited Anakin on one of the benches next to the control console, Jenny was removing one of the floor plates.
“Jack” she called.
“Yeah?”
“Follow me.”
Jenny led the way down a ladder, into a passageway that looked as if it had never been used.
“Where are we going?” asked Jack.
Jenny simply replied “The armoury.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The armoury was a large room. The walls were lined with every weapon Jack could imagine. And some he couldn’t. Jenny walked over to a rack overflowing with swords and other bladed weapons. Taking one down, Jenny inspected it, rapping it with her fingers at several points down its length.
“Too fragile.” She tossed it aside. She walked along the rack. “Aha!” she whipped a pair of very long-bladed and slightly curved knives off the shelf. They looked like Wakizashi. Jack looked at them. He’d had a very memorable experience with one of them in feudal Japan… very memorable. As she twirled them, Jack could have sworn that he could hear the atoms of the air splitting.
As she strapped the scabbards over her back and sheathed the blades, Jenny looked at the rack again. She took a fairly bog-standard longsword down from the rack and held it out to Jack. He looked at it. The hilt was fairly average, and it was comfortable to hold. There was a panel on the hand-guard. He flipped it open to reveal a nondescript button. When he pressed it, the whole sword started to vibrate. The end of the hilt glowed blue and static discharge crackled up the blade.
“What the hell?”
“It’s a power sword, Jack. Get over it.”
“Power sword?”
“There’s a nuclear power source in the hilt. A capacitor in the blade collar converts the nuclear energy into electricity. The electricity runs through the blade and is looped back through another capacitor to convert it back into nuclear energy and into the power source, and then the whole process starts over again.”
Sometimes you could tell that Jenny was The Doctor’s daughter by progenation.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Doctor looked at Anakin’s wound.
“Well,” he said “that’s one big hole you’ve got there.”
All Anakin managed was “Aarg”.
Jenny came up the ladder. She was dressed in a flak jacket. A Time Lord flak jacket. As used in the Last Great Time War. He flashed her a look.
“What? It was the best flak jacket there. You don’t exactly keep a stocked armoury.”
Jack clambered up. They both had, in addition to power swords and combat knives, Gallifreyan weapons. Energy/bullet weapons. The assault rifle and pistol versions.
“To find them-” The Doctor began
“Do the Care Bear, I know.”
They walked out of the TARDIS doors.
“See you ‘round.” Jenny called over her shoulder.
“See you.”
“Oh, I will.”

Many thanks

Do the Care Bear, I know.
That's a hilarious line!
The weapons sound nice, very much their answers to lightsabres and blasters. The upcoming battle promises to be interesting with them fighting with guns and swords like that...
And you're gonna save Anakin?! YES!!! But I wonder, why can't Jaina and Jacen still feel Anakin in the Force? He's not dead yet, and hopefully won't die either...
Then about the PMs, it's quite easy to add a link to the messages. Just copy the web address of the story thread (and the right page when you get to the second and so on) and then paste it to the message. It'll change into a link when you send the PMs and would certainly help in finding the thread if it takes a while before the reader has time to come and read the updates.
Hope that helps and nice updates!

sorry I haven't posted for so long! I've been at various grandparent's houses, and the house that did have a computer, It wouldn't run TFN! Anyways, here's the next post.
Yuuzhan Vong Worldship
Baanu Rass, Myrkr orbit,
Near the Voxyn Queen’s Lair
The gap yawned away before Jenny. It had opened when Jack had run across. Through it, she could see the bowels of the ship – literally – and, through the translucently thin skein of weakened Yorik Coral, space. Hard vacuum didn’t pose much of a problem to Jack, who’d been on several stints outside atmosphere without any kind of vac-suit, but it did to Jenny. Not even Time Lords could survive explosive decompression. The cries of the Vong warriors didn’t sound very friendly either.
“Do-ro'ik vong pratte!”
No, definitely not friendly. The analytical portion of Jenny’s mind worked away at the fact that the TARDIS wasn’t translating the words. Weird. Jack looked at her, his eyes searching for a way across.
“Do-ro'ik vong pratte!”
Jenny rolled her eyes. Men. She’d been created to be a soldier. She could deal with the Vong. The trail of bodies leading from the cloning lab to here gave testimony to that. She looked back at the warriors racing up the slimy corridor towards her. Even so, being cornered against a long drop wasn’t fun.
It was at that point that her physiology took over.
“Do-ro'ik vong pratte!”
The human body was capable of amazing things under pressure. It was a well-known fact. The body of a Time Lord could do even more amazing things. It could replace all of its cells in the space of ten seconds. It was, physiologically, a marvel.
“Do-ro'ik vong pratte!”
Jenny took a deep breath, used the limited run-up to the full and-
“Do-ro'ik vong pratte!”
Ran along the wall.
"Do-ro'ik vong pratte!"
Jainasolorocks: you're on the list.
Aleria: Thanks. he's not dying at all, but I might do some unpleasant things to him... They can't feel him because he's done the complete force balance thing... to my mind, that drained him of all his strength so they can't feel him. Jenny, Jack and the Doc can locate him because of
A) the shatterpoint thing, and
B) their psychicicity (made-up word) does not have the limits that the force does. (In other words, they've travelled in time and Jacen and Jaina haven't.
thanks for the advice.

darthtoad: thanks.
Okay, I won't be posting for a while now, but to make up for that, this one's looooong by my standards, anyway
Yuuzhan Vong Worldship
Baanu Rass, Myrkr orbit,
Voxyn queen’s lair.
As Jack rounded a corner, seconds ahead of Jenny, something jumped out at him. A couple of moments later, he woke up. Jenny was standing by the corner, a dead Voxyn at her feet. It was dissolving into its acid blood. As he stood up, he saw a fork in the tunnel.
Right.
“Which way d’you think we should go?”
“Um - Eeny Meeny Miney Mo-”
“Tahiri, no!”
They looked at each other. The universe had one of its Uh-Oh moments.
They sprinted down the left passage.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tahiri stood. Still as a statue, as the Voxyn queen toppled towards her. She was prepared. She wasn’t afraid. She would see him again. She drew breath to say goodbye-
And had it knocked out of her as someone (probably male) cannoned into her, knocking her out of the way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jenny ignored Jack being turned into a splat on the floor. He’d recover. He always did. Now, she had to concentrate on her Job. She suddenly felt as though she was in a videogame. Although videogame ledges aren’t half as slippery. She started by finding impossible purchase on the wall with her boots, then jumped from ledge to ledge, ledge to stalagmite, stalagmite to stalactite, stalactite to stalactite across the room to above the Voxyn queen’s head. Now she clung on for dear life and hoped like hell that Jack knew what he was doing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ow. That was the first thing that came into Jack’s mind. Ow. That had been a particularly painful death. Possibly more painful than being exterminated by a Dalek. OW.
Jack opened his eyes. The blonde he had knocked out of the way was lying on the floor, being attended to by a being that took the words “Guinea Pig” into a whole new league. It looked like a gerbil with huge ears and a big snout in a brown jumpsuit. Well, he’d seen stranger beings. Staggering upright, he put the point of his sword on the floor to push himself up. It sunk in about twenty centimetres. From above him, there was a huge roar of pain. Jack used one of the more colourful profanities he’d picked up in his years of time travel. This was gonna hurt.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jacen looked in astonishment at the man. He’d been flattened. There was no way he could have survived. But there he was, slashing at the Voxyn Queen with that weird sword. There was a flash of movement from the passageway they’d come through. His danger sense, already dancing pins and needles down his spine, gained intensity.
“Do-ro'ik vong pratte!”
Kriff.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jack slashed at the huge animal’s nose. He was already blood-soaked from his encounters with the Vong warriors. There was quite a lot of his own blood there, too. He jumped back as the huge creature tried to bite him. Now that was just asking for it. He drew the sword across the Queen’s face, the static discharge melting the left eye out of its socket. With a titanic cry of pain, the Voxyn slashed Jack’s chest open, driving splinters of the theoretically unbreakable flak jacket into his vital organs. One spray of blood later, Captain Jack Harkness was no more. Again.
Ow. As Jack awoke again, he thought: nearly there. The plan he and Jenny had concocted relied on luck, Jack’s ability to wake up after he’d died, and the Voxyn Queen doing what they wanted it to. Pushing himself to his knees, he pulled out his pistol. It was a WW2 Webley. It hadn’t broken. Good. Aiming it at the Queen, he pulled the trigger three times.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Clinging to her stalactite, Jenny smiled. Jack had done his job, now it was time for Jenny to do hers. Jack’s shots caught the creature in the side of the head. It turned and saw Jack. Its brain registered that it had just killed him. This was too much for its already feeble mind. Resetting to default, it reared up, tilted its head back, and roared in pain and confusion. This shook the stalactite enough that a round from Jenny’s pistol could dislodge it, and send it falling onto the Voxyn Queen’s head. Jenny landed several seconds after the stalagmite. On the Queen’s head. Pointing her rifle downward, she emptied a full clip of bullets into the Voxyn Queen’s head.
