That was beautiful! You really showed how important just holding someone's hand is. It's a different kind of intimacy that is overlooked in today's society and I think you really captured the true meaning of hand-holding here. Wonderful job!!

divapilot: I'm flattered  I've always seen Mara as being very unobtrusive when it came to situations like this. After all L/M have been through together, sometimes just being together is all they can do for each other  Thanks again!

Sometimes there is no other way to describe it other than 'raw' , not only in fanfic but real life. Empty words don't solve problems, only the people you love can do that. Thanks so much for reading!
Gabri_Jade: To me, making sure Luke and Mara was portrayed correctly was the most important goal. I've seen so many fics where Luke angsts a bit about what he's done and Mara soothes his worries. I like the situation, but to me it runs deeper than that. They've been through so much together sometimes there just isn't anything to say. Thanks for reading!
Jixa: It was sub-concious, I think. Once I started writing I just didn't stop. Towards the end, where it would have been natural for Mara to say something, I found I had no words for the moment. Then I realized such is life. Actions speak louder than words
