Hope you like this next update! PM List: Jades_eyes TelannaTani Jaina_Jade_Fel angry_bendu1 Tell me if you want to be added!! Part 1(cont.) Jaina frowned and tilted her head indecisively. Her reflection in the mirror, dressed as she was in a black shimmer silk dress that fell to her knees, did the same. She twisted back and forth, the motion stirring up the hem of the dress, and let out a noise of exasperation. “I think my mom sent this dress over as some sort of bad joke,” she called over her shoulder. A chuckled drifted out of the open ‘fresher door. “I’m sure you’re making it out to be worse than it really is,” Jag reasoned, his voice echoing slightly from inside the ‘fresher where he was also getting ready. Jaina made a face in his direction. He laughed again. “Don’t make that face at me, young lady,” he said mock-sternly, finally coming out of the ‘fresher. Jaina turned to look him over and scowled. “You make it look so easy,” she accused. Jag looked down at his casual black slacks and dark green button up shirt. “Make what look so easy?” he asked, his expression puzzled. “This whole dressing up thing,” she replied, turning back to the mirror and running a critical eye over herself. “I look ridiculous.” “I think you look stunning,” Jag said, coming up behind her and wrapping his arms around her slim waist. He kissed her bare shoulder, giving her goose bumps. “I may be a little biased though,” he murmured, his hot gaze finding hers in the mirror. Jaina turned in his arms to face him. “Are you sure you don’t want to stay in tonight?” she asked, running her fingers through the short hairs on the back of his head. “I could make it worth your while,” she purred in his ear. “Oh yeah?” “Mm hmm.” Their lips met, gently at first and then more fiercely as Jag pulled her tighter against him. Jaina opened her mouth willingly to him and he responded eagerly, engaging his tongue in a battle with hers. Jaina could feel her knees growing weak with the sheer intensity of his kiss and yet she was loath to pull away. Jag, sensing her dilemma even through his ministrations, solved the problem by tightening his hold on her and lifting her up off the ground. Their lips parted for a half a second as they adjusted their positions and caught their breaths before once again taking possession of one another’s lips hungrily. With her mind suddenly blank, Jaina couldn’t remember why they had been about to go out. Something about dinner? Jag seemed to have forgotten too by the way he began moving over to the bed. Jaina’s shins hit the mattress and they both fell onto the sheets without separating, Jag’s body a welcome weight on hers. She drew her arms away from around his neck and instead concentrated on relieving him from his shirt. She grew frustrated when her fingers fumbled on the tiny buttons and settled for tugging the shirt out from his pants, seeking out his smooth skin. And that was when Jaina’s comlink started beeping on the nearby nightstand. Jaina paused and drew her lips away from Jag’s, who either didn’t hear the incoming call or chose to ignore it as he trailed hot caresses down her neck. “Jag…Jaaaag.” “Mmpfdf.” Jaina rolled her eyes and sighed with a mixture of exasperation and pleasure as Jag nipped at her shoulder. Unable to separate herself from his touch, however, she simply used the Force to call her comlink to her, intending to get rid of whoever was on the other end quickly. She thumbed the small device to life. “Solo here,” she said, and even to her ears her voice sounded particularly throaty. “Jaina? What’s wrong? You sound out of breath.” Jaina wasn’t sure if she had unconsciously Force pushed Jag off of her or if he himself had fled. All she knew was that the moment her father’s voice had come across the comm, he had been there and then gone, allowing Jaina herself to sit up abruptly, guiltily, as if her father could somehow see what they had been doing over the comm. “Dad! Hi! Every—everything’s fine here. How—how are you?” she asked stupidly, shutting her eyes tightly and groaning inwardly. A snort came, not from the comlink, but from Jaina’s left. She opened her eyes to see Jag standing there looking irritatingly immaculate, shirt tucked in again and not a hair out of place, as though the few minutes had not happened. Jaina glared at him. Han growled over the comm. “Whatever you two are doin’, cut it out,” he ordered, ignoring her question. “Your mother wanted me to comm and make sure you guys were on your way. So I suggest you get a move on. Hear me, Fel?” Jag moved next to Jaina and bent down to speak into the comlink. “Loud and clear, sir.” “Good,” Han said and disconnected the call. Jaina looked up at Jag to see a thoughtful expression on his face. “You don’t think your father would bring his blaster to dinner, do you?” he asked, and Jaina couldn’t tell whether he was joking or not. “Let’s hope Mom confiscates it if he does,” she replied, moving towards the mirror again. Her chestnut locks, which she had carefully pinned up before, were now spilled across her shoulders due to her and Jag’s recent activities. She moved to pin them back up when Jag’s hands stopped her. “Why put your hair back up when it’s so beautiful down?” he asked, spinning her around to face him. Jaina smirked. “My, my, when did you become so charming?” she quipped, and reached up to kiss him despite her sarcasm. Jag pulled away first, resting his hand on the curve of her shoulder. “As much as I’d like to continue, being around Jedi so much seems to have given your father a six sense about when I’m having particularly strong thoughts about his daughter,” he said wryly. “We should probably get going.” Jaina wrinkled her nose. “You’re no fun.” “No, I’m really not,” Jag agreed with a small smile. “I promise, you won’t be complaining later,” he added, ushering her out of the bedroom. 	Teaser “So, when are you gonna make an honest woman of my daughter, kid?” As a credit to himself, Jag did not spit out the brandy that he had just sipped from his tumbler. In true Jag fashion, his eyes widened imperceptibly and he admirably managed to gulp the amber liquid down his throat. Jaina on the other hand almost choked on her own sip of brandy, eyes watering at the intensity of the drink but still able to glare unsubtly at her father. “Dad!” she sputtered indignantly, in sync with her mother who also threw out a admonishing, “Han.” Han paid no attention to either of them though and continued to pin Jag down with a look. Jag cleared his throat. “Don’t you think that’s between Jaina and I, Han?” he asked bravely. “Nope.” Jag opened his mouth to speak but Jaina, the frustration welling up inside of her reaching its boiling point, beat him to it. “Whoever said I wanted to get married, Dad?” she blurted out. She felt a spike of emotion from Jag and suddenly realized what she had said. She instantly turned to him, but his hurt green would not meet her apologetic brown. “Wait, that’s not what I meant,” she added hastily, wondering how this dinner had so abruptly careened out of control. I suck. The end. I'm going home this weekend though and I'm hoping to find time to complete this chapter!! So while I try to do that, I hope you'll all enjoy a little sample of what's to come!
