Ok, this is little more than a rough outline at the moment for a proposed trilogy.
I have no official title for the overall narrative nor subtitles for the three individual acts I intend to write.
I'm hoping to just jot down my notes here, get some feedback, work out the kinks, and perhaps collaborate with others...

Is that done here? Is it allowed? Would anyone be intersted?

It seems to me that with my other fan fiction, i'm always running up against walls of what can be done. I've been told its ok to re-write history here, but personally, i'd prefer not to. I'd rather write something that can stand within and amoung the official canon of the expanded universe.
For that reason, i've decided to the the story many years into the future where anything is possible.

Heres a look at some of my other work:

STAR
WARS

A long time ago in a glaxy far, far, away...

2250 ABY

A new power has arisen in the galaxy. The UCGS: The United Coalition of Galactic Systems. There is no centralization of command or Government. Instead, each System governs itself answering only to Jedi Order when they breach, violate, or infringe upon the borders or rights of neighbouring star systems.
The Jedi Order itself is self regulating. They control the Navel fleet and its armies. They are an independent body or peace keepers and galactic law officials.

It is a system that has worked well for over 500 years. Most are happy with the way things are. Most…

PROLOGUE

The Jedi Temple.

Rain lashes against the windows. Outside a storm is brewing. Lightings and thunder -
Albanous Orto stands before a group of his peers in the Jedi Council chambers.
He struggles to maintain calm - to focus his centre.
They accuse him of blasphemy, of corrupting the original intentions of the masters. He leaves, renouncing his Jedi commission, casting his lightsaber onto the floor as he passes through the outer doors.

ACT ONE – 10 YEARS LATER

The planet Naboo.

Much has changed. The world remains much as it was: Peaceful, A world without weapons of interstellar war. There is still no formal army. Only now they have managed to develop a revolutionary shield network protecting them from any orbital or groundside attack.
The shield represents the result of years of cooperation between the Naboo people and the Gunguns.
The plant Naboo has become a planet of recluses. No one ever leaves, no one ever arrives. No exceptions are made.
Nothing gets through unless authorized – until now…

Rumours circulate that the Jedi are attempting to put pressure on the Naboo government to disclose the technical specifications on how their shield system works. As negotiations break down one last meeting face-to-face is arranged…

A small Jedi diplomatic shuttle approaches – gains admittance though the shield. They dock in the capital of Theed on a landing pad next to the palace. A group of government officials have arrived to greet them. Among them, King Ghosna himself.
Golden sunlight shines upon the proceedings. It is a happy time. The Naboo seem happy to welcome the Jedi. The boarding ramp begins to lower…
A snap-hiss, the unmistakable sound of a lightsaber being activated.
A black clad figure engages the welcoming party, cutting them down without compassion, restraint, or bias. The two Jedi; Master and apprentice, step down from the boarding ramp just in time to see the cloaked humanoid force throw King Ghosna from the landing platform to his death below in the rapids.
The Jedi Master orders his padawan Timus

[ Timus Queeton’s backstory: Timus is a human Padawan of about 15 years of age. His is barely capable in the ways of the Force. He has a weak midi-chlorian count but possess a strong intellect and desire to do what is right. His master is Myas Domus, a Twi-lek. ]

to hold back while he deals with the threat, engaging the assassin with Green lightsaber lit. The duel is fast and furious, ultimately ending quickly with the escape of the assassin.

A major diplomatic incident has been created. In the eyes of many, Two Jedi Knights gained admittance through an impenetrable shield through a three second window in the security grid and assassinated the King and his welcoming delegation. The nature of the secret meeting is still a closely guarded secret, but many believe the rumours, and with the King and most of his senior staff dead, the way is now open to renegotiate with a more ‘understanding partner’

The Jedi Temple.

Meanwhile, back within the order of the Jedi, the council discuses the alarming situation. The general consensus seems to be that the assassin was a Sith Lord. His clothing, lightsaber, and dark side presence all seem to testify to that. They believe that the Sith have chosen to reveal themselves at this opportune time in order to undermine the Jedi integrity on a galactic scale.
How the Sith gained admittance through the shield is still a matter of dispute. Some ascertain that the assassin stowed aboard ship, others that he rode his way down in the ships wake inside a small cloaked single-person fighter. Others that he was already groundside to begin with…
There is also some discussion about the Sith’s probable identity. Some believe that he could in fact be Albanous Orto or his apprentice – returned to reek his vengeance.

On the Galactic stage

A cybernetic organism has appeared; a race of mechanoid aggressors. They attack indiscriminately, and with no discernable pattern. They appear to have no apparent command structure or goal other than to integrate all biological and technological ‘Assets’ under their dominion.
They have no ships or weapons of their own. They cannibalise everything they come across, ships, weapons, enemy personal, even entire planets. They are a cancer on the galaxy. A locus, a zombie infection. A single cybo-trooper can, if unchecked turn an entire planet.

The appearance of Sith and Cybo-troopers at the same time are more than just a coincidence. But as yet, a connection has not been made. As the first act closes, hundreds of Jedi lead hundreds of navel ships in an all out war upon the Cybo-Troopers.

ACT TWO

The second act begins with a galactic rout for the UCGS. Thousands of Jedi have been killed or otherwise integrated within the Cybo-Trooper military machine. Once integrated, they lose their sense of self and connection to the Force.

Around a quarter of the galaxy has been conquered. Roughly speaking, we’re talking from the Kathol sector all the way coreward towards Sullust. Naboo, Endor, and Bothawu borders Cybo-Trooper space and the worlds still owned by the UNGS.

The Jedi position weakened, many believe that the Order is no longer capable of maintaining control.
During this conflict a research scientist rescued aboard a science station orbiting Kamino tells of the Cybo-Trooper’s beginnings:

A Jedi Knight named Albanous Orto commissioned her to begin research into cybernetic organisms for practical military use. Upon hearing the news the galaxies mistrust of the Jedi escalates.

Kuat, Commenor, and Corellia unite and declare their intentions to leave the UCGS and the shackles of Jedi domination.
It is the spark that proves to ignite the fire.
The Jedi react by sending a task force to those planets to re-establish control. Reacting badly to the Jedi reaction, several other solar systems join forces and launch a pre-emptive strike on the Jedi home world of Yavin IV.
Court unawares, many Jedi are killed and much of the council are murdered in the orbital bombardment.
Ultimately the Jedi win the day and a semblance of order is restored. However, the galaxy, while in the mist of an invasion on its very way of life, is now also poised on the brink of civil war with itself.

ACT THREE

In the intervening months of the war, the surviving members of the Jedi Council – of which there are now only five – have moved offworld and established themselves on battleships spread throughout the fleet.
Iminumon Klintyon commands a lead battleship amidst the rearguard fleet.
To protect against another coo, The five masters can, if need arises, take direct control of the minds of their soldiers and force them to obey. Hundreds of Knights and their ships have also been seeded among the solar systems throughout the UCGS to prevent insubordination. The Jedi are now viewed as aggressors and some believe them more dangerous than the Cyber-Troopers.
All this military manoeuvring has kept pressure off the Cyber-Troopers and allowed them to take even more systems without any kind of substantial resistance.
The now control Hutt Space and have moved coreward as far as Tynna.
Their numbers grow stronger every day, feeding on the dead and remaking them in their own image. They are a parasite causing gangrene in the systems of the UCGS.
The tragic consequence of their conquest is that those planets lost are as good as dead. Like Alderaan or Ithor.

And then the unthinkable: In a move completely unlike the Cyber-Troopers, they coordinate mass jumps in system, at the direct coordinates where they can find four of the remaining five Jedi Masters. Huge numbers are shed, wave after wake of Cyber-Trooper attack, eventually overwhelming the Jedi fleet like a wave crashing sand barriers.

Iminumon Klintyon, the sole remaining Jedi of the Council commanding the rearguard fleet, takes direct control over all military matters directly and absolutely - issuing new orders, strategies, and propounding new philosophies to the Jedi Knights under his command and throughout the fleet he begins to halt the tide.

And then a further revelation: The Jedi Council has been secretly creating a new Sun Crusher-like super weapon. Under Master Klintyon’s orders, the Star Nova manoeuvres itself into systems held by the Cyber-troopers, imploding their stars.

They begin to retreat.

They galaxy praises the talents and leadership of Master Iminumon Klintyon.
A new order arises: The galactic order of the Jedi.
A single Jedi Master controls the galaxy as its self appointed leader and the people rejoice.
Now, there is no dark side. Or light. There is no good or bad, right and wrong.
Only the actions and decisions of one man govern the course of the entire population of half a galaxy. The other half or course is destroyed. But that is ok. Because those planets were all dead anyway. Or as good as. Sure, the Cyber-Troopers may someday come back, but as long as Master Klintyon controls the Star Nova, no one can ever challenge his or indeed his galaxies authority again.

Since this isn't the story itself, per se, you may want to post it in the Resource Forum, instead.

Epilogue

A small unmarked starfighter docks within the cavernous bay of the lead battleship commanding the rearguard fleet. It sits powering down next to the Star Nova. Waiting all alone, patiently inside the receiving room facing out onto the bay, Master Klintyon watches as a dark cloaked figure scrambles down from the cockpit of his fighter and strides towards him. Albanous Orto draws back his hood and kneels before his master.
Master Klintyon tells his apprentice that his has done well. Then he takes his head.
