	Title: Abyss Authour: G__Anakin Time Frame: Fate of the Jedi, Post-Omen SPOILERS Characters: Dramatis Personae below Keyword: Jedi, evil Summary: -Black holes are evil. - Luke Skywalker and his son Ben Skywalker are on a trip to the Maw Cluster to find a disturbance felt by both Luke Skywalker and his now dead nephew Jacen as they touched the Codex of the Aing-Tii. They are followed by Lady Rhea and her apprentice, Vestara, who wish to kill Luke Skywalker. Elsewhere, Tahiri Veila has been arrested and convicted of the murder of Admiral Pallaeon, the former Head of State of the Imperial Remnant. On Coruscant, the Jedi continue to investigate the 'insane' Jedi, while a cult preaching order and obedience to a higher power arises in the lower levels. The Darkness was eternal, all-powerful, unchangeable. She stared into it, unblinking and unafraid. She was determined that is would not claim her. She had resisted it these many years. She would resist it forever, never despairing. It was unchangeable, but change would take place. The Force said so. -Prologue to Outcast, Book 1 of the Fate of the Jedi Chapter One - Arrival Empty space, between Galactic Alliance and Imperial Space A small prisoner ship, the Grey Chains* , drops suddenly out of hyperspace. "We're experiencing some technical difficulties," the pilot says. "Maintenance, please check on the hyperspace engine." Silence. "Maintenance? Maintenance?" The pilot hears the door slide open, sees a yellow blur, and falls to obilvion. The blur, a young blond ex-Jedi named Tahiri Veila, had stolen the ship with that action. The former crew of the ship had been charged with transporting her to the Imperial Remnant. Three days ago, she had been arrested, tried, and sentenced to the Imperial Remnant by Chief of State Natasi Dalla, former Imperial herself. Chief of State Dalla was a beautiful older women, with a wretched personality towards the Jedi and any one who obstructed order for the galaxy. She was to be turned over to the Imperial Remnant and was most likely to be executed. She was convicted of the crime of the murder of the former Head of State of the Imperial Remnat, Admiral Gilad Pallaeon, under the belief that she perpetrated the crime under her own initiative, and not an order by Darth Caedus, the former Jacen Solo. "Where should I go?" she asks herself as she slipped into the pilot's seat. Not Coruscant. Even if the Jedi still wanted her, as Jaina insisted, they couldn't afford to been see with her, after this. She set course for the deep core. To go to a quiet place, the once safe haven of the Jedi, Eclipse. Maw Cluster There, in front of him, was a black hole. And another. And another. And another, until they formed the strangest and most unnatural phenomena in the in the galaxy. A clusters of black holes. It was the Maw Cluster, known through out the galaxy for being extremely difficult and dangerous to navigate. Ben Skywalker was about to do it for the first time. The Jade Shadow slid slowly foward, but sped up as a black hole tugged at it. Ben jerked the ship in the opposite direction. After a pain-staking hour of sliding foward and jerking into the pull of yet another abyss, they arrived at the serene center. Ben had three thoughts on his mind. One; they had better find what this disturbence his father and Jacen felt in the Maw. Two; gravity, anywhere, was a pain in the ass. Three; his father was going to pilot them out. - The two Skywalkers looked upon the black holes, observing absolutely nothing. Niether eyesight nor Force probing informed the pair of anything. "Ben, pilot us to shelter," Luke says. Ben gives him an odd look, sliding into the pilot's seat. "Why?" "Cilghal contacted me. There was a fourth victim. A Falleen Knight, Natura Wan. Cilghal, Han, Leia and Jaina came up with some theories, one of the more interesting being that they were all children held in the Maw during the war. of course, that means you're at risk. Ben gulped, slipping the Jade Shadow into one Shelter's hangars. "Don't worry, you'll be fine," Luke says ruffling his hair. - A single ship enters the Maw behind them. Watching, observing, waiting. - Ben waked through the children's area, looking around at where he spent over a year of his early life. His father told him to look through this area, looking for anything that might be a disturbance, while he went to look through the computers. Just like his dad to give him a weird job. "The Force must've told him something." Ben thought. He felt something, in the Force. It wasn't bad, but . . . it felt unnatural, however right it may be. "I can remember holding you as a baby here." Ben smiled, turned around, and saw the blue, transparent owner of the voice. "Hi, Mom. I guess you're talking now." He smiled, then joked," I've learned some new tricks of the Force too." They rush into a hug, Ben hesitating, not wanting to fly right through her. They embrace, feeling semi-solid to one another, but love is felt. "I've so happy to see you sweety," she says kissing the top of his head. "When, exactly, are you getting taller?" The hug shifts as he shrugs. She speaks, her voice trembling. "We need to talk." She gulps. "I've fought and given my life, but it can't be helped. You must fight, fight for our galaxy." "There's a great evil, soon to plague our galaxy, here, in the Maw." "We'll handle it!" Ben says into her shoulder. Mara gave him a proud look before sighing. "You don't understand Ben. They, as in very many, are evil. Pure, concentrated, undiluted evil. They wish for destruction." Ben frowns, pulling out of the hug. "If they're so evil, and I would assume powerful, why are they hiding?" "They're not hiding. They were locked away by an ancient race. They are now know as the Celestials, what little is known as them. They created Center Point, an extremely powerful gravitic device, as you no doubt know. They used it to create black holes, thousands of them, to lock these beings up. Center Point was silently containing these beings over the thousands of years. Now, the whole system is messed up. It won't hold much longer. With Center Point, it would've lasted indefinitely. Another reason to hate you cousin," she sighs. "What are they?" "They are . . . a complete mystery, even to me. I haven't completely joined the Force . . . yet. I had to stay attached to the world a little while longer. My knowledge is, relatively, limited. However, many cultures allude to evil beings, called Devastators. I had a strong feel when it came to these legends." Ben frowned. "Wait. Yet? Are you leaving me, joining the Force, soon?" She nodded, tearing up slightly. They hug, one last, final time. "Don't tell your father about this, about me, or anything I've told you. Until you leave the Maw. Your father will have his hands full soon enough, and doesn’t need to think of me. Good job with Tahiri. Helping her realize she isn't dark, like your father did for me. I love you so much," she said, fading away. "I love you too," Ben whispered. How is it? Please leave your thoughts. Chapter 1 is longish. A little more than 1000 words. Is that a good chapter length? Chapter 2 is slightly shorter, not much at all really. Chapter three, however, is frigheningly short. Chapter 4, while not written yet, is likely to be long and action packed. I hope you enjoy! 	Chapter Two - Memories Shelter, Maw Cluster The stale oxygen of Shelter burned in Ben's lungs as he ran for his father. After speaking to his mother, he decided that he wanted out of here. He stopped in his tracks when he heard voices. Cruel voices. It's him again. So much power. So vulnerable. We knew this day would come. You thought you could hide? Ben fell to his knees, hands going to his head to fight a horrible head ache. He feels his blood turn to ice. His skin is lit with fire. Tears pour from pain filled eyes, and his screams are heard throughout Shelter. The Force blazes throughout the Maw. - "Patience Vestara," Lady Rhea, Vestara's Master, says, while the pair is aboard a pirated ship orbiting Shelter. Vestara's eyes are wild. "To fight one with such power . . . wonderful!" she says, thinking of the blaze of energy the two recently felt. "The Jedi are going to die . . . Soon!" Eclipse, deep core Tahiri stepped quietly into Anakin Solo's old quarters, the stale oxygen, disgusting until she entered Anakin's room, smelled sweet with her lover's dilute, barely distinguishable smell. She slid into the un-made bed, and fell blissfully asleep. "Hi Tahiri. I always wanted you in my bed." Tahiri's hands gripped the sheets, as Anakin's ghost lied down next to her. "Was that supposed to be a joke?" she whispers. "I've been here before." "Yeah, you have." He laughs. "We need to talk. It's important. I don't know how much time we have." Tahiri shifts to be close to him. "I don't know why I can visit. I've tried hundreds of times. I've not been able to join the Force, so I've been bored. Just watching you all, really." "Have you . . . what . . . did you see Jacen join the Force?" she ask sadly. "Yeah, saw 'em. He joined the Force. Didn't even drop by to say "Hi Bro!" He had no reason to be stay where I am, not that I'm there by choice." His eyes widen. "We have to hurry! I can feel myself weakening!" She nodded. "You need to go to the Maw. I don't know why, but I know Uncle Luke and little Ben are there." She nodded again. Then, her arms went through his body. He sighed. "Looks like I have to go. If I don't find a way to join the Force, I'll see you again. I love you!" Tahiri got up and ran for the Grey Chains. She threw the crew out, contacted the Galactic Alliance, and sped to the Maw, to the end. The Past Shelter, 15 years ago Shelter. A shelter is a place that keeps outside elements from harming it's inhabitants. Nothing can keep you safe from the shelter itself. The Maw is one such shelter; a shelter where it's inhabitants are at harm from their safe haven. - Force sensitives are unnerved by many spacial phenomena. Black holes are the best known ones. They are an antithesis to the Force. The Force represents life. Black holes, the opposite. Black holes are extremely powerful gravity wells. They are invisible. Many beings think they can see them. What they see is what is being pulled in. They pull in everything, including light, into nothing. They are now, and will always be, mysteries. One thing is for sure. Jedi are made sick by them, especially children. Jedi Master Tionne Solusar was now cuddling one such child, a baby, Ben Skywalker. His strength in the Force heightened the trauma. He often took to withdrawing from the Force. There was always something haunted in his eyes. Shelter, Maw Cluster The soft sheets were tangled and sweat saturated around him. There was something red in front of his eyes. It was his hair. He was in his bed. His father must have found and brought him here. He was in his bed, aboard the Jade Shadow . Tears filled his eyes as it hit him. These creatures would be his fault. Them, and any destruction they cause. He blocked out these beings, from his memories, when he was young. He was weak, and blocked them out in horror. If he had these memories, before, he could've warned somebody. He could've stopped Jacen from destroying Center Point. He was weak. He was weak, and, he knew, the Universe would suffer for it. Like? I'm good, aren't I. Just chapter 2, and I've already given the typical, annoying character flaw that all heroes have. They blame themselves for what the bad guys do or will do. [shakes head] So annoying. Why can't our heroes be smarter? Anyway, chapter 3 is very short, but 4 will be longer. All chapters through chapter 4 will be fast, maybe all by tonight! Every chapter after 4, however, will have several day breaks between them. The first 4 quick post will just be for attention. Chapter 3: We visit Coruscant. 	I really hate to do this so soon, but I'm posting chapter three. Good news! I added extra content to the chapter, so it has some length now! Chapter Three - The Cult Several Days Earlier High Security Prison of the Galactic Alliance, Coruscant Boba Fett crashed through a window of one such prison. And a mission started. Employer: Anonymous Mission: Free Valin and Jysella Horn from carbonite, and arm them. Then help them escape. Let them go from there. Payment: 1.7 million credits. It was going to be an easy job. Getting in; a piece of cake. Dalla thought that the Mandalorians would work exclusively for her. She was a fool, no matter how much Fett may like her, as a person, and as a employer. Business was business. She would of course be seething, but would be able to do nothing about it. She needed them to police the galaxy, and the Jedi, though she would never admit it. If getting in was easy, getting out wouldn't be any harder. Ten men, half an hour later, a prison full of dead security guards, and 1.7 million credits in Madalorian pockets. And, two 'insane' Jedi were loose upon Coruscant. Current Time Lower Levels, Coruscant Lower levels of Coruscant are horrible. It is home of the poorest and most unfortunate of the galaxy. There were trillions of Vong life forms left down there, and a few Vong them selves. The government stopped caring about the lower levels a decade ago, right before the Killik Crises. It was a perfect place for a cult to spread, infect, and fester for a take over of a galaxy. A week ago, a being appeared to a very rich man, telling him to free two Jedi, for the sake of the galaxy. He paid the Mandalorians, after a job well done, and then the man mysteriously died. His use was over. His money, somehow, fell to an unknown relative, since he had very few. The relative disappeared soon after taking the money, and it was soon discovered that he was a fake. The government was after him for the crime of stealing millions. Below, a small group suddenly had a lot of money. The money was used to gather followers. They gained many followers quickly, in a matter of days. The sick were healed, beasts were killed, and food was grown. The leaders were followed without question. The leaders spread messages, for a better, safer galaxy. They claim the Jedi Order and the government of the Galactic Alliance has been taken over by imposters. The ludicrous claims were believed, simply because they were powerful. The weak tend to worship the strong. They claim, much like the Jedi, to receive power from the Force. However, there were gods. The Jedi were just hiding, wanting the power for themselves. Their goals: Elimination of the Jedi Order and imposters in the government; complete obedience for their gods. - A woman was speaking to an audience. She was hooded, hiding her face. Her beautiful voice preached. "Our galaxy has been taken over! Taken over by imposters! It's not obvious. They are very evil; evil and deceptive. The gods have told us! We must take back their galaxy, and spread their will!" She disappeared. The audience "ooohhed" and "ahhhed." There must be gods. Jedi Temple, Coruscant "How is he doing," Han asked, looking at Seff. Seff was on the floor, still, and nearly naked. "He's doing better . . . we think," Cilghal said, to both Han and Leia. "His scans are returning to that of a normal person, after he spent several hours screaming, crying, and hurting himself. We'll study him a little longer. We think the Ysslimiir, which obviously separates him from the Force is helping. A theory is the Force must carry or feed this . . . problem. We're feeling hopeful. In a couple of days, you should speak to him." "Keep us informed," Leia said. Lower Levels, Coruscant They were watching a recording. It was blurry and distorted, but the point was clear. "Our galaxy has been taken over! Taken over by imposters. We must take our galaxy back! For the gods! It is their galaxy, and the Jedi would take it away from them!" A hooded man said this, then disappeared. All the large meetings were like this. A quick speech, then 'poof!" "I don't get this," said Doran Tainer, a Senior Jedi Knight. "How can a cult arise in a couple of days, ran by those two no less, and make thousands of people believe in gods!?" Jaina shook her head. "We've seen this before, with the Yuuzhan Vong. Many people become afraid of things that are more powerful than themselves. Some go as far as to worship them as some vain hope of salvation. I'm sure you remember this from the War." Doran nodded. "Are we to assume these 'gods' are real? Valin and Jysella seem to actually believe it, when they're preaching. I think we should learn more about these 'gods' if they're 'real.' At the very least, they must be based on something." Jaina nodded. Another mystery for Darkmeld. Maw Cluster A ship lands at Shelter, two Sith step off. The younger whispers. "The Jedi are soon to be over!" Interesting? I hope you enjoyed! 	Wow! This chapter turned into a monster while I was typing this! It increased up to 2200 words! Chapter Four - Death Shelter, Maw Cluster "Lady Rhea," Vestara says. "How are we going to go about attacking." They were watching, hiding. They knew there were two Jedi, the Grand Master and his son. They were now watching the Grand Master. He came out to look for the disturbance, the disturbance that the two Sith were. Lady Rhea answers. "I'll kill the Master. Go into the ship and kill the son." - A third ship arrives. - Vestara sneaks quietly aboard the ship. Upon entering, she hears running water. The boy must be showering. She lights her lightsaber, and cuts at the door handle. He was now locked in. A live victim to get information from was better than a corpse. - The ship lands, not bothering to waste time observing. There were two ships at Shelter. Tahiri knew there was supposed to be one. - Lady Rhea was beautiful woman. That beauty would do her nothing, she knew, as her blazing lightsaber soared towards the Master of the Jedi. His green blade met hers, as Luke Skywalker's eyes opened in mild shock. Their fight was beautiful, and wouldn't, naturally, end soon. Luke saw Tahiri, standing at the entrance. He nodded, and sent a message through the Force. "Help Ben." She nodded and ran. Lady Rhea never saw her. She couldn’t have warned her apprentice. Tahiri tip-toed up the ramp of the ship, not wanting the presence she felt to hear her. She was already hiding in the Force. In the cockpit, there was a young girl, dressed all in black. "Who are you?" Tahiri growled. "The better question would be, who are you?" the young sith countered, turning. "You're not supposed to be here." Tahiri connected herself back to the Force. Vestara Khai smiled. "A Jedi? No, you don't feel like a Jedi." Tahiri smiled back, but differently. "Well, I am. I've rarely been a real Jedi in my life. Now, I have reason to fight as one." "Then die." A red lightsaber snapped towards Tahiri, who then used her own blade to bat the attack aside. Tahiri stayed on the defensive as the wild girl attacked, in an attempt to fool the Sith. Tahiri was a fighter. It was best to save that as a surprise. Always. They backed into a hall, out of the cockpit. Tahiri heard running water. Was Ben taking a shower while there was a fight? Now, Tahiri took control of the fight, going on the ofensive. Distracting the Sith with her blade, she surprised her with a kick. She was knocked into the fresher door. Tahiri knew the sound would awake Ben from whatever was distracting him, and alert him to the fight. She fake-attacked Vestara, her real intent to cut the melted lock, freeing Ben. A moment later, a naked Ben rushed out of the fresher and into his room, Tahiri preventing Vestara from harming him. - Ben dashed into his room, jumping on and then rolling over his bed. He picked clothes off the floor, and dressed, knowing that Tahiri could hold her own for another couple of moments. Better than him fighting naked. Once his clothes were on, a brown Jedi robe, he was out the door with his lightsaber flying into his hand. He joined the fray. Tahiri was dominating the fight now, Vestara rarely winning a change to attack. Ben delivered a strike to Vestara from behind. Vestara brought up a block to his strike, and the flipped foward, over Tahiri to attack her from behind. Tahiri acted fast, spinning around, and Vestara's death strike was blocked by two blue blades, as Ben appeared next to Tahiri. Tahiri went on another offensive, Ben at her back, often throwing in his own strike to further annoy the Sith. Vestara cartwheeled through the pair, and was met by Ben's blade when she tried to impale Tahiri upon landing behind them. Tahiri withdrew from the Force. Now, the fight was unpredicatable, but the Jedi could do it. Tahiri attacked Vestara, who had no idea how to fight someone who couldn't be felt in the Force. Ben attacked as Tahiri's shield, helping her defend herself from a Force using opponent she had no way to counter-act. Tahiri was a wild animal in a fight like this, not having to worry about her defense. A small remembrance of a Yuuzhan Vong warrior. The Sith wouldn't last long. Behind Vestara now, was the exit ramp. She back flipped down to the bottom. Ben dashed at her, Tahiri on his heels after reconnecting to the Force. The Sith threw Force Lightning at the pair. Ben caught some on his left hand, before placing his blade in front of the burning energy. His hand was lightly burnt and stinging a little from inexperience with that skill. Nothing a day or two wouldn't heal naturally. The barrage of energy upon his blade stopped as the Sith was forced to defend her self against a blast from Tahiri. It was well known Tahiri wasn't as picky as most Jedi when it came to Force abilities in a fight. Ben deactivated his blade, and tackled the Sith. Tahiri stopped her own barrage of Force energy knowing Ben's plan. The Sith fell to the ground, her blade falling out of reach. Ben wanted to take this to a fist fight, but that plan failed when Vestara plucked him off of her with the Force, and tossed him into the Jade Shadow's hull. Vestara, without a lightsaber, and on the ground, was now vulnerable. Tahiri released another burst of lightning, a short, but effective blast of agonizing energy. The energy struck the now struggling to stand Sith, and she went sprawling across the hangar. The Sith's lightsaber was soaring towards her, ready to defend herself from another blast. Ten meters away, the fight of the two masters was visible. It was amazingly beautiful, a dance of red and green lines, their wielders barely visible in the little light. The fight of the learners continued. Vestara dove back into the fight slightly slower, but still deadly. Ben was holding back just a little more now. The flight to the hull of the ship had weakened him. Their fight, too, was beautiful. It was less art and dance, more practiced and cautious. The Jedi were winning, but even the Sith understood the act of retreating to be wise. Vestara kicked out at Ben, distracting him, before performing a lengthy flip to join the fight of the masters, but not before throwing a small dagger towards Ben. He sidestepped it, but recieved a small nick on his already wounded left hand. Tahiri dashed after the Sith, halting several meters away from the masters. Ben took up a place behind her, wrapping his right sleeve around the wounded left hand in the brief respite from fighting. Luke gave them a look telling them not to interfere. The fight was beautiful, almost as if it were choreographed. Neither was losing, neither was winning. Vestara was standing on the side lines, waiting for the moment when her entrance would be most devastating to the Jedi. Their fight slows over time. Lady Rhea speaks first. "These are the Jedi. Come, Vestara. Come and join me in striking down the Jedi leader, their spirit, their will to fight, their power!" Luke now takes his turn to speak. "You will try." He looks to Tahiri. "Get Ben out of here. Get the Shadow ready for lift off. Something very, very bad is about to happen. I'll hold these two off," he says, fending off a strike from Lady Rhea, and a barrage from the new joined Vestara. - Ben rushed up the ramp of the Jade Shadow, followed on his heels by Tahiri. He ran into the cockpit and slid into the pilot's seat, starting the ship up. Tahiri stands behind him, hands resting on the back of his seat. They were both, now, watching the fight out through the cockpits window. The Sith Lady and Luke were the main players in the fight below, with Vestara placing occasional well placed strikes that would've killed anyone other than Luke Skywalker himself. "You should go help dad," Ben says distractedly, doing a quick pre-flight diagnostic test. "No. He told me to get you out of here. To get you out here in order to keep you safe! If I were to go and help him, that girl could come in here and kill you. That wouldn't exactly be keeping you safe." Ben slows, annoyed. "Just go! I can handle her. Before I joined the fight, you were kicking her ass. If you can do it, I can do it. I did beat you after all, two years ago no less." She reached her hands down the seat to grip his shoulders. He winced, and let out of small, unexpected squeak. "If I really wanted to kill you, I would've. You're just a little boy really. You won't have the experience for years to come to handle yourself as well as I can." Yuuzhan Vong emotions were passing through her. "Don't, ever, question my ability to fight." Her gripped tightened, causing Ben to shrug her off. He grunted, annoyed, knowing she was right. When Tahiri spoke again, her voice was trembling. "No. It's . . . too late." For one, horrible, torturous moment, she saw the future. "Take off! Now!" - There are moments where anger is one of the most powerful forces in the Universe. This is one such moment. A moment where anger allows an apprentice to kill a master. It's not the apprentice's fault, or even, a testament to her power. The Forces said the Masters must die. The Forces said so, so it happens. - "Ben," Tahiri said, shaking his shoulders. "I said, take off!" "No," Ben said, voice breaking. The Jade Shadow started lifting off. Ben had already decided to leave his father. He just didn't realize it yet. "We have to wait for Dad." The Force was changing around them. It was almost burning. It wouldn't be a suprise if the Maw combusted into a fiery ball of shearing Force energy. "It's getting dangerous." The hangar was starting to fall apart, around the hovering shuttle. "We should wait!" Ben says quietly, resigning to the fact that his dad was as good as dead. "Look Ben," Tahiri says. "Your dad isn't getting on this ship. It is the will of the Force. Listen to it, and live!" Take care of Ben, Tahiri. I trust you. Be a Jedi. Ben, I love you! You've made your mother and me proud. - Lady Rhea came upon Luke Skywalker with a vertical strike, hoping to rip into his heart. She was defenseless herself. Luke Skywalker made a choice. He killed Lady Rhea, knowing that death was soon to come for himself. Vestara, in fury, killed him. Luke Skywalker accepted death. The Force said to do so. Two complete Masters of the Force died at that moment. - When a being dies, it hurts the Force, weakens it, before the dead beings joins it. The Force is life. It is the power of living being across the Universe. It is a balance. It needs people alive, spread across the Universe, to keep itself in existence. It also needs death, to be an existence. It's existence is the dead beings who are apart of it. It is nature. Nature creates life, and destroys life. That, in itself, is all the Force needs. In the short moment a being dies, the force is weakened. When a Master of the Force dies, the Force, for a short moment is severely weakened. When two Masters of the Force die . . . it is catastrophic. The Force is a shield to hold back the evils of the Universe. It protects the nature, the balance, it creates to exist. When that shield is weakened. Evil takes place. - Vestara ran to her ship and the Jade Shadow lifted itself out of Shelter. The Force was crying. Two of it's Masters had died, and, worse yet, it had failed. It was painful. The three could feel the Force burning. Evil now, truly, existed. The Maw went completely dark. Several black holes began to shatter. - A roar filled Ben and Tahiri's mind. "FINALLY! THE TIME OF REVENGE IS HERE. ALL LIFE WILL END. THE END OF THE UNIVERSE IS NOW." Shakily, Tahiri says, "Get us outa here. Now!" Ben, with wet eyes, nods, speeding for the corridor out of the Maw. - Ben was laying on his bed, crying slightly, when Tahiri entered the room. He was laying on his stomach, face buried into the sheets. She sat down next to him, putting her hand on his back. "Don't worry about that thing. We'll be okay. We always have been, always will be." He turned to look at her, eyes red with tears. His voice was broken and full of tears when he spoke. "You don't understand. That thing . . . it's evil. Really evil! It's the beginning of the end. You saw it. When Dad died, it appeared." "Just don't worry," Tahiri said. "We've never been beaten before. We survived the Yuuzhan Vong, we'll survive this." Ben shook his head, sitting up next to her. "No. They are so much worse." Tahiri pulled him into a hug. She didn't want to admit, but she was kind of scared also. "I'll contact Jaina to tell her we're coming to Coruscant." How was it? I thought it was great. How do you feel I handle action. Since this is a big, important chapter, I would really apreciate responses.
