What might you do to persuade me to add you to my trendy and coveted WUL?

Well, rumor has it that you are stunningly attractive (I happen to respect Andrew's judgment a great deal on this issue), I do have my limits. That said, you propose, and I shall consider.

Nice thread idea, Josh.
For me, it's 1998. I finished high school, fell in love for the first time, lost my virginity, travelled abroad for the first time, met my biological father, started growing a moustache... a perfect year.

For me it would be 2003. Accepted onto and began the degree that would get me my current job. Without it, I'd be adrift. With it, I'm mint.

Courtney, you are wrong.
Even though you are not reading this.
You are still wrong.
3 times over in fact.
1. Senny is a very cool male of the species. I have met him.
2. He does not lock ALL your threads. As this would take him most of the day to do.
3. He was not rude, merely playful.
Now go make another thread.

KnightWriter posted: As the question asks, what's been the most important year of your life so far? No, the year you were born is not eligible, thank you very much.
For me, it's probably 2000, the year I graduated from high school, made the incalculably stupid decision to move away from home before I was ready and just generally started a bunch of things in motion that still influence my life today.
Not necessarily the most memorable, but the most important or influential.
I doubt you're reading this, Josh, but I really like this question.
For me, 1997 was the greatest year of my life. The most important event in that year was that my son was born--easily the most life-changing event ever. I've never been the same and I think the whole experience has made me a better person.
It is also in that year that the Navy paid for me to go back to college after some rather poor choices I'd made earlier in my life. I graduated 3 yrs later with a degree in Electrical Engineer, a wonderful son, and a bright future.
Best. Year. Ever.
