	I'm very worried for my family members there. I was there when Gilbert hit in 1988 and it just about destroyed the island. We were still recovering when I left in 1990. The good news is that the eye is passing south of the island. The bad news is that Jamaica's going to get seriously trashed by the maximum sustained winds for several hours straight. If you're the praying type, please spend a second or two doing that. I'd appreciate it. 	Thanks, Jay. That really means a lot to me. Quick update: My cousin hasn't been heard from since before the storm hit. I took off yesterday when I got the news. So far, no further news on his whereabouts but that's not surprising given that phone lines and cell phone towers are out all over the island. The good news is that he's on the northern end of the island, which supposedly made it through, relatively unscathed. 	Thanks, Jay! Good news. My brother in Miami sent me word around 4 a.m. this morning and everyone's accounted for and ok except for my missing cousin. Chances are he's fine and holed up somplace drinking warm red stripe.
