ooo, new car sterio. sounds nice Kate 
My day so far consisted of getting up to go out to breakfast, coming home and playing guitar, then throwing a tantrum because I got another paint chip on my guitar   I mean, it's ok now cause my dad managed to cover it up decently.... but it's the second chip in 2 weeks and I've only had this guitar for 6 months, and it's the most beautiful guitar ever.... *sigh* it's upsetting.
ok, I just needed to vent a little

This is funny, I didn't know Alison had posted yesterday. 
When you posted yesterday Alison, you must have gotten an error. Cause it didn't move this thread up, I thought the only person that posted yesterday was Kate at 9:08 am

Good morning everyone. I'm back at the office after a very hectic weekend. We went canoeing, and I got badly sunburned. I'm still alive but I am very very badly burned. Ow! I got burned on my knees pretty good, so I'm walking around like an Egyptian mummy recently raised from the dead in an attempt not to bend my knees.
For a long weekend, it sure seemed to go by fast. At least I've got some vacation coming up on the 16th.

Sunburns = ouch.
Yeah, it did seem to go by too fast, but it was nice having some days off for a change. The next few weeks at work are going to be a bit hectic so I may take some time off after the 1st.

I finished reading "The Great Gatsby" this weekend too. I also killed some space pirates on Metroid. And played a rad game of Mad Libs. Looking back, I really accomplished a lot. That means I'll have to try extra hard to not accomplish anything this week, so everything evens out.
For some reason the word "evens" above doesn't look right. Did I spell it wrongly?

I'm sorry about your guitar, Alison. 
I hope everyone had a great holiday! I spent most of mine out on the lake, on a jet ski. So, the outside of my legs are sunburned (And I mean BADLY!), but the insides are as pasty as they were on Thursday. It's from sitting behind people on the ski all day. It looks pretty goodfy, so I'm stuck wearing loose pants to cover it.  And my shoulders and back are killing me. But the fireworks were great.

Thanks, we've decided that it must be the paint on the guitar that makes it chip so much *shrug* nothing we can do about it then.
Yeah, I did get an error message when I posted yesterday! so that's what it meant I checked the thread and it had posted, so I left it. hm

My cat likes to eat grass. But lately, he's developed an exotic taste. No, eating grass will no long work for him, he's decided to eat the Spanish moss lining the baskets of our household plants.

Sometimes. But his tummy is anything but little. He's a pretty big cat. To give you an idea of how big he is, imagine if the state of Delaware were one big morsel of Iams cat food: he'd devour it whole, and then use New Jersey as his litter box.
