At least the discussion in there keeps on going when you leave! My favorite thread is dead without me there to entice the male patrons. 
I also wish I could up my favorite fanfics. They're getting neglected.

Hey Debo, for your "Striking Photographs" thread in the Amph.
This is a Richard Avedon photo of Nastassja Kinski. I remember seeing it when it first came out and was struck by the great use of "beauty and the beast".
I remember seeing this photo of Lee Harvey Oswald being shot by Jack Ruby in a Life Magazine scrapbook that my mom had. I was always struck by the look on the man's face standing to the left of Oswald. Very intense.
One of my favorites. The VE Day celebration where this soldier just grabbed a nurse in the street and kissed her. I love it.
Tom, I remember those old Theda Bara and other celebrity photos from a Life Magazine journal my parents had. Classic photos.

Is anyone paying attention to the Big Brother forum?
Not to mention the housemates "tasks" take about 4 hours to read. How the hell are we supposed to vote when the updates would take that much time to read? Not many of us have that kind of patience.

I mean, the point of the game is to restrict certain members to a single forum, yet they are freely allowed to post in any forum using socks, and VIP socks at that.
We're allowed to post in any forum?! 
Well, whatever. I would have liked people to enjoy the game, but if some people aren't that's fine. There's plenty of other places they can enjoy themselves out there on the JCC. Right?
