From what I understand we have to purchase our own tickets from the B sens.

TreborGahKor posted: Okay, so I'm trying to understand this better, so ignore my ignorance. Will I not be allowed in the arena with my costume on? Only the concourse correct? Unless I have a ticket. If I'm understanding that correctly. If not, then I may need to sign up for a free ticket as well.
For both the concourse and the arena separate tickets are needed. You're already signed up for the concourse one. If you are going to "troop" inside the arena in costume you can get a free arena ticket, but if you are going in to watch the game (in or out of costume) you need to purchase a game ticket.

I'm up for doing stuff inside the arena too. It sounds like a bunch of fun. Did I miss a cut off?

Nope, you didn't miss a cut-off.
I don't think we'll be getting the arena passes until tomorrow night, but the B-Sens wanted to get the concourse passes ready in advance.
I have confirmed we have power at our table, so you can bring stuff to play. And we have a DVD too (you probably saw parts of it at the Syracuse Heroes Expo) if there's time to play both.
EDIT: I have a couple updates to the event checklist (see red text)...
Where is the Entertainers entrance/exit?
after entering you will see a door marked Media, that is where we sign in for our concourse passes
Time of Event
Time event starts: 6pm
Time entertainers need to be there: 5pm
Time entertainers need to be ready for: 5:30pm
Time event ends: game ends at 9:30pm
Time entertainers can remove costume TBD
Weapon restrictions
no prohibition on weapons
Trooper Provisions
Men's and Women's secure dressing area
co-ed locker room
A "safe zone" to unmask
co-ed locker room
Will food/water be provided?
water will be provided, bring money for food at arena
Any other entertainer "perks"
free concourse passes, free arena passes for costumed volunteers, discounted tickets for those wishing to attend the game
Is there a preffered parking location/garage?
no special parking location
Is parking free/reimbursed?
parking is aprox $5, not reimbursed

We are planning to leave Rochester at 2pm-ish.
And plan to arrive at the Arena at 5pm-ish.
I will probably be offline as of 1pm-ish so to contact me use my cell - 585-281-7963.
See you in a little over 5 hours!

Hi everyone.
Just want to tell everyone what a great night last night was. You all did a fantastic job. This was the first big troop for Binghamton FF and it was great. As you might know we have been invited back for next year. This will be even bigger and better. We were also asked by two local radio stations to do some stuff with them later on in the year.
Special thanks to Doc_Bev for all her hard work in organizing this. You are a star. Everyone else just big thank you for coming to this event and all staying in character for nearly 5 hours. You are the reason that I love doing this stuff. The friendship and camaraderie is brilliant.

Hey Jedi I see your awake, AWSOME job to everyone for the 5 hour marathon. The Arena host said we were the most popular group there that night. So great job. This was my first real trooping event and all I've got to say is WWWWOOOOOOOOWWWWWW.. I'm totally blown away. We made so many children happy I almost cried and thats what it's all about, but I must stay in character. Thanks again everyone from P.A. and Rochester you guys are the best . Where will the Pictures and any video be posted anyone know? Hope to see ya all again soon

WoW!! What an aweseome time that was!
I have absolutely no interest in hockey, but I can't wait to do this event again next year.
I'm hoping to get photos posted by tomorrow.
Jackboot (& anyone else who has pics), can I steal your photos to add to the gallery too?
Big thanks to Mary, as without her manning the table I wouldn't have gotten to wander around and do all the cool stuff like the group picture on the ice, etc.
And last but not least - we made $68 for the ALS Association. I will be drafting up a cover letter for the donation and send it to Ian and Charles for review.
It was so great seeing you all again! And I'm looking forward to the next time we can troop together.

I had an AMAZING time last night. A total blast and it feels like a total shot in the arm for our group now. So much so, that I came home so excited that my wife and I have been frantically working on costumes all day long. We agreed that we need to get my son and daughters involved now as well as my wife. We were also brainstorming today on our way to a Easter play rehearsals other events we could get involved with. Here are some ideas that came up:
B-Mets games
First Night in Binghamton
Vestal Fireman's Days
Broome County Fair
ANY of the parades (although this may leave Ian out with his bagpipe group)
The New York State Fair
What about a Grand Re-Opening of Target that "may" be coming up? (We would need to move on this quickly if they are doing this)
Free Comic Book Day (Maybe at Fat Cat Books in Johnson City?)
Any other ideas? See, this has my brain going a million miles a minute. CORE all the way baby!! Great troop and thanks Doc Bev, thanks 501st and thank you to all of our friends in Rochester, Syracuse, Scranton, and PA in general. You all made last night a total blast and THIS is why I got into Star Wars costuming. What a night!!
