looks like Karen and Bob have been working on the Bmets for a SW night. It will be sometime in June. As soon as we know more we will post here.

Ok, here it is......
We need to be there at 5pm
Game time is 7:05..not sure how long the game goes for.
They would like us to be the pregame entertainment. from 6-7. We discussed perhaps doing a 3-- 3-5 minute skit in the front concourse by the base lines and they would put it up on teh big screen.
After the game there is fireworks....again the idea of a 10 min or so skit to be done and laid over the fireworks on the big screen.
We will be provide with a table, water, weapons are fine....Vader will be tossing out the first pitch....So Jeff get your throwing arm warmed up..lol.
We can bring a protable CD player to keep at the table to place music and such. If possible Bob could you slap together a CD of music that they may play. We are sharing the night with some Melvin Noodlemen.....never heard of him..lol. They can also provide us with microphones for the skits.
Parking will be provided....Please park as far back in the lot as you can. I will actually be there around 4:00 to help out with the parking and getting things set up. I believe Eric Long..our BMets Contact..will be there to meet everyone briefly.
They are very excited and hyped up for this event....it could be the start of something BIG...lol.

Three days and counting!!!!! Ian and I are meeting this afternoon with Eric and getting last minute things situated. Everything is still ago...plan however, for rain...figures!  Also, keep in mind...WE are the entertainment for the event..at least an hour worth. I want to thank everyone before hand for everything.

Hey Karen, what are you planning on wearing for the game - white ANH Leia or Jedi? It isn't looking hopefully for gaming on Saturday for me, so Tom may get his wish of me joining him for the 2 events he's doing out-of-town.  Also, if it rains, is there still a game? Thanks, Daria.

Thanks CORE for inviting Excelsior (& Echo Base) to join you at the game!
Sorry we couldn't hang out afterwards. As it was I didn't hit the hay until 2am. 
I'll be working on getting pictures uploaded today (thanks to Mrs Karate-Jedi for taking our group photos).
And between sale of the buttons, posters and straight donations we raised $36 for ALS!

Many many thanks to everyone! The Bmets game was a HUGE HIT!!!! We've been asked back to have our own night next year.....Ill start working with Eric on that around December. It will be bigger and better than this next time. The fans enjoyed themselves. I overheard the kids and adults talking about how cool it was...YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!
Can't wait to see pics that were taken...I didn't really get to take any of my own...lol. Eric said he will have a DVD for me by the end of the week. I will try to upload that when I get it.

It was great to talk with you tonight at Speidie Fest. To answer your questions, we would be more than willing to help you with the costuming side of things. We've all helped each other out to get to the spots we are at now and I know we'll rely on each other for costuming in the future. We would be more than happy to have the two of you join us! If you want to get a feel for the group as a whole, we meet at the Barne's and Nobles in Vestal every 2nd Sunday of the month in the Starbucks portion of the store. Come join us, we would love to have you!!
