Thanks to everyone who showed up to give the kids and family a great time!
We also walked over to the Children's Hospital a few blocks away, and they got a treat as well. There were three busloads of kids riding in from upstate on a train as part of a "Polar Express" and celebrating the Head Start reading program. The hospital was to be their last stop and get their awards for all their reading.
They sure had no idea they'd be meeting a stormtrooper, Darth Vader, Jedi, and X Wing Pilot at the end of the line!
The smiles were awesome.... what a time for the batteries to die on the digital camera, sighhh.
