You could have said the sky is blue but I'd still give you heck about Crank. I've never even seen the departed, so for all I know it sucks.

Eric...don't get upset and sensitive about it. I'm sorry if I offended you. I wasn't trying to. I'm just trying to get you to see that sad endings don't necessarily have to mean you should dislike a film.

I don't know if there is a difference , but I thought about it & maybe I am just "mad" at the ending of those two films and maybe I enjoyed them to a point.

Makes perfect sense to me. I know a number of people who will simply adore a film until the very end, and then claim to hate it with a fiery burning passion because they just don't like the ending.
Me, I look at the thing as a whole. If the good parts outweigh the bad, I like the movie.

I just hoped that the endings would not deter you from seeing how incredible those films are in every aspect. Seems that's what you're saying!

Zodiac:
With its 2 hrs 45 min run time Zodiac was anything but slow or boring. It did a great job of keeping my attention. Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo & especially Robert Downey Jr. give great performances. Downey Jr , has dont this fine of acting since ..well I dont know.
It was nice to see Anthony Edwards in a movie. I haven't seen him in anything since ER. And speaking of Downey Jr , He is in the title role of IrionMan (2008), Cant wait to see that.
Back to the movie at hand, Wile Zodiac entertaned me for just under 3 hrs, Its rewatchability is slim to none.

If you have not seen Casino Royale yet, see it! I'm watching it now for the third time in about a week. It's highly entertaining and Daniel Craig makes a GREAT Bond. Best movie I've seen in a while!

Reign of the Gargoyles
During World War 2 a group of brave US Airmen a downed in Nazi controlled Europe, after their aircraft is attacked by a Nazi-controlled mythological Gargoyles
Eric might like this,
It's your basic Sci-Fi meets WWII Nazi-s,
ok special effects, and a fun story line......
pretty darn good for a TV-Moive,
hope you can catch a re-peat on the Sci-Fi channel,
am sure it will be on DVD soon.
