Aw, c'mon! The truce was broken! Betrayal at its finest!
See? It was a subtle double reference
Luke & Co ally themselves with imperials to defeat a invading army of tentacled-nostrils velociraptor aliens, who steal souls to power their war droids.
Admiral Ackbar takes the voices in Luke's head as valid military advice.
I get the reference - it's very clever if you've actually read the book (and know that Firefly scene), but otherwise you wouldn't know what the hell it's talking about. I just don't want to set a precedent for people just coming up with clever references.
Party Pooper Cooper. ()
If cav is the unequivocal winner (which is how it's looking), I'll bow to you people and your stupid democracy (you should be with me on this, Jello), but I do want these things to have some kind of actual utility in the future. Think of all the "where should I start reading?" newbie posts we get here.
Fair enough. I would say that LI, Hav, or AdmiralWesJanson's posts do the best job while being funny. That being said, @cavalier_one's post is incredibly clever.
Well, true. But then I do also like being arbitrary and capricious. That's like the best part of tyranny: whimsy!
I can't believe that no one has managed to reference the scene where Luke makes those bugs frigging crawl up his throat and then he spits them out.
My fleets stand by the principle of democracy, but democracy with laws and rules!
So, in other words, Cav wins but we need to follow the principles Coop laid out moving forward, which I agree make 100% sense.
...I kind of want to sig this.
"I love democracy! I love the Republic!"
Coop, I understand where you're coming from on this, and will endeavour to follow the principles as laid out in future postings. I just couldn't resist it
Never let it be said you are not a magnanimous and whimsical ruler.
@ is our first winner!
X-Wing: Rogue Squadron. Go.
Egotistical cop turned pilot learns lessons, kills Imperials.
Force-sensitive cop joins Wedge to become a pilot, help resurrect Rogue Squadron to perform a trench run on an Imperial planet
You do realize that half of us are just going to keep doing this anyway, right?
Yes. Yes I do.
Corran's Female Troubles: Part 1
Corran Horn Corran Horn Corran Horn. Did we mention Corran Horn?
Not the one with otters.
Misa ab iPhono meo.
Corran Horn is amazing in every conceivable way and has lots of relationship issues.
Oh wait, that's the series as a whole
