Seems like I've read next to nothing from 2012. Plagueis is the only novel, and then there's probably... five comic arcs? Feels like nothing.

I feel so behind on reading in general, I have scarcely read anything since Allegiance, and I can't even remember how new the novel was when I read it. I have no interest in the post-NJO, so I have intentionally ignored almost everything from that period. I overlooked the Clone Wars novels and comics while I was reading the NJO, only for LFL to make it seem like I am not supposed to read them in the first place.

That was pretty much the same reasoning I had when I voted for him. Say what you will about his writing, but he did provide the foundation for a large amount of EU material.

You're supposed to vote for the best nominees. Vote your conscience, not your sense of obligation to word count.

I don't want to seem like I'm campaigning, I just feel bad seeing people saying that they wanted to vote for someone but felt like they had to vote for someone else.

Drew, I feel, contributed more to SW as a film franchise (and films in general) than the EU. I'm more a fan of Struzan than KJA but KJA has provided many positive elements to the EU even if one doesn't care for the way in which he used words to implement them.

His TOTJ and Anthology work alone is worth my vote- the former established SW as a multi-era universe while the latter probably represents what the EU is best- works that take what we've seen in the films and fleshes the world around them out.

I see @'s vision did not come to pass.

Finally motivated myself to vote. I'm guessing Plagueis/Luceno are going to run away with just about every category they're up for.

I certainly hope so. Anything that can make The Phantom Menace a more enjoyable film gets high marks from me :p

So, I actually just read all of Ghost Prison. Very glad the board was not lying about it being made of awesome; I took it on faith and voted it "Best Comic Book arc". Luckily, I was not at all disappointed.

It's so good that I now actually want a TFU III (with a playable Vader for breaking out of the prison, and perhaps for killing Starkiller as well).

Ah, just missed it. Too bad, too, because I all ready to give Annihilation its lone vote.

Any estimate on how long before results are released? A couple days? A week? A month?

I will be tabulating results tonight or tomorrow night, and then it depends on if @ wants to do images for the awards again.

    False advertising.

How do I get my money back?
