I have only watched the first hour of last nights episodes. I have to say, I was not impressed. Hopefully the second hour has some redeming qualities.

I have to admit, it ended far different than I expected it to. It was far more character driven the last 20 minutes than usual. And I've never seen a 24 where things actually ended on a semi-happy note.

Yeah that last few minutes with Heller are sure proof Kiefer deserved that emmy he won last year for best TV actor. Very powerful stuff. Well its on to Day 7 and if even half the rumors are true, it promises to be a unique day.

I have heard a whole new cast in a new city (i.e. no CTU (no Chloe, Buchanan, ect). I think it will be alot like season 1 in the since that it will be more personal to Jack.

Season Seven Preview:
Set in Washington, DC, “Day 7” opens with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER (Kiefer Sutherland) on trial. Bauer’s day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA (Carlos Bernard) returns. Meanwhile, President ALLISON TAYLOR (Cherry Jones) leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN (Bob Gunton) and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR (Colm Feore).
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including Agent JANIS GOLD (Janeane Garofalo), Agent RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching), Agent LARRY MOSS (Jeffrey Nordling), Agent SEAN HILLINGER (Rhys Coiro) and security specialist MICHAEL LATHAM (John Billingsley).
