Notes on future book releases. Fate of the Jedi sounds bery interesting as a series. Hopefully it will deal with what happens to Luke in the future.

I'm excited for the possible release of the "VADER" novel. The entire idea behind the book sounds amazing.

And a "Horror" novel as well....interesting although I am still mad at all the fate of the jedi books being hardcover only.

November 1, 2009 - Paperback: Untitled horror novel by Joe Schreiber takes place between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back and should be read under the covers by flashlight.

Just what that says...very interseting

hopefully I can get my book in there soon happy

Speaking of which... what do I need to do to get in contact with Lucas Licensing LTD.
and does anybody have any ideas for a publisher and where I can find one? I've got like 2 chapters of my rough draft to finish and kinda need a publisher to make official editing suggestions, corrections, etc.

I have read and seen many interveiws with Star Wars Writters and Publishers, and that question is brought up often. The ansewer is always something along the line of "Don't call us, We'll call you!" Star Wars Auhtors are chosen based on their previous work in Sci-Fi or Fantasy.
Although, I have heard that it might help to also already be working for the publisher, which is curently Del Rey.

I've heard about that a lot myself. I've already gotten some papers from Del Ray too. I guess I've already made my first step then.
My mistake.. those were from an agent heh.

Ben Skywalker no Kenobi This is about 40 ABY. Luke is the Grand Jedi Master.

oh.. yea I knew it was Ben Skywalker. Never really referred to Kenobi as Ben like in Ep. IV Always called him ObiWan personally.
So this takes place well after the Yukzon Vong invasion during the New Jedi Order and the reformation of the Jedi Order?

Yeah, The New Jedi Order series (a.k.a. Yuuzhan Vong invasion) was 25-30 years after A New Hope. The Dark Nest Trilogy was 35 years after, and Legacy of the Force was 40-41 years after A New Hope. So Fate of the Jedi is about 43 years after A New Hope.

Also, The Legacy Comics are 130 years after A New Hope! nerd
