Hey guys, i will try to not spam your forum with the awards this year, but i just needed to ask a few favors from your chapter 
Your chapter has always been good about submitting photos. Its that time of year to be asking for more again Even if you cant make the hike to Long Island this year we could still use some help in pre production.
Also anyone who is willing to donate some time to help with party favors to hand at the door would be great. We are maxed at 100 so thats our magic number this year
Any suggestions or volunteers would be great.
Once i get the confirmation from the venue our time slot is booked and seating capacity i will make a formal announcement

My first suggestion would be to skip the party favors. While they were a nice touch, it's just added work. Keep it simple.
I'll look for those figures for you as soon as I have time AND remember to go upstairs.  You know I'm here and will help wtih what I can.
Travelling to the event is proving to not be as easy as in the past. I'm working with United Way on a big event in April and wouldn't miss Mindy knocking girls around on the track for anything.

yes due to location things are a little different this year as well as chapters attending. We should see a few chapters there we havent in the past due to location convenience.
Party favors, we still have door goodies but nothing like last year since we dont ahve the formality of dinner and we dont have an intermission this time. Its time slotted for 1 hour so short and sweet and off to a masqaurade party afterwards.
As soon as i get full details from the con i will post a thread. tough right now with no details 
For now we are stil just trying to get the trophies made and hopefully some picture and fanfilm submissions.

I can't make any promises, but I plan on going to NYC to visit a friend real soon...depending on how everything plays out, I might be there at the same time. But I can't say for sure!

cool, this threadd isnt mainly for who is going either , howver its nice to know who intends on being there  rather its to let everyone know that attendance o rnot your help is still appreciated. U can volunteer your time in the pre pre production stages as well as donations and crafting. So any help anyone wants to volunteer even if u cant go is greatly needed.
Pm me if you would like to help in any way.
Remember we need:
Name tags
Photos
Door Goodies
Help with video finale
Show planning
Decorations
Figure donations
etc
So keeping those things in mind you can help right from home.

I have alot of faith in the buffalo grou and i know this job someone there can do
I am looking for one or two ppl who can nag all the chapters CR's to send photos to you for the slideshow. Pics of chapters events, over the past year/ highlights/etc need to be emailed to one or two ppl then comiled and sent to me by March 15th. This does not mean you have to go to the awards. This is a work from buffalo position lol
Can we get someone to help with that? We have no volunteers yet and i hate to cancel the awards. any help from anyone at this point would be great.

i was just informed this morning that all fanfilms slideshow etc have to be submitted to icon by the 17th.
So if you guys have a fanfilm i will need it asap and jkeep in mind its being shown to the public and Icon will review it, if its not family friendly they can ban it from view at the con.
