My car is 15 years old now, and with $3000 worth of work needed to keep the engine up and running longer, I'm in the hunt for a new car. So if anyone knows family/friends who are looking to get rid of something, I'm all ears. Looking around 5-grand, not too picky about the actual car: I like my Subaru, but I need a car. So if people wouldn't mind keeping their eyes/ears open, I'd appreciate it

It seems there are good cars out there if you are willing to leave the city and drive a few hours. I am looking at another Rav 4 not too far from here.

Nancy located another Rav 4 like the destroyed one and got it.
Same except no moon roof and no roof rack.
I'll let you know if I see anything good, I need to replace my car soon too.

6 days in, and I already have to fix a coolant leak, replace a bent rim, and hope the bent tie rod will hold out for a while...
