Who wants to go see Speed Racer on Saturday the 9th or 10th?
It is rumored the Clone Wars trailer will also be shown as one of the previews... I hear it's also playing in IMAX

Some of us are meeting for Debellas subs (Transit Road) at 5:30pm then going to see the movie afterwards. You may want to get your tickets early to avoid a sellout.

Ignore the critics.
Especially Jeff Simon, who loved the film for all the wrong reasons.
This is a masterpiece.
Not only do the filmmakers really know and respect the material, but they have faithfully translated a manga to the screen in live action. This film does what the original HULK movie failed to do.
Speed Racer is an epic tale that is successfully exciting, funny and touching when it needs to be. It works whether you know the source or not.
For an extra dimension of enjoyment, sit next to Gil's wife, who had more fun per square inch than any of us ever had during the IMAX CLONES event.

The bad reviews are unwarranted, this wasn't King Lear, this was Speed Racer. The movie paid the ultimate homage to the original material! I knew Nancy would like it, she was the one who wanted to see it in the first place. We both watched the show growing up and I was suprised Janice and Lisa had never seen the original cartoon.

This movie was awesome! I really enjoyed it. Imax was quite exhilerating, except NO Clone Wars preview!

That's the problem with IMAX sometimes they show no previews.....and the regular movies aren't truely in the IMAX format.
