What: Birthday Party Request
When: Saturday July 5
Time: Arrive 4:00 pm Appear - 4:30
Where: Town of Tonawanda (a stone's throw from Larry & Janice's house)
248 Southwood Dr, Tonawanda 14223
I received the request in the mail yesterday (quite possibly from our appearance at the Tonawanda Folk Festival). The party is for a speciallittle boy turning 4. His parents included a letter along with the appearance form:

Dear North Ridge,
We are writing to request that you attend our son Joseph's 4th birthday party on July 5. He has become very interested in Star Wars and enjoys the stories and actions figures. Joseph was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma (an aggressive form of bone cancer) when he was 18 months old. he received 14 rounds of chemotherapy during 2006 and is now in remission. It would be an extra special treat for him if you could attend. I have included an article about Joseph that was in the Buffalo News Kids Day editionin 2007.
I will bring the article to the meeting and try to scan it and add it to the post for all to see. The little guy sure a trooper!
I sent an email to the parents advising that I need to make sure people are available for the party and need to get back to them by no later than Friday June 20.
