If you guys have someone leave the book club I'd love to join... I have just taken a two month hiatus from the expanded universe as a result of a terrible book by Sean Williams, but Karen Traviss and Order 66 brought me back. L.

Hi Tionne,
no one has to leave the book club in order for you to join. All are welcome! The club doesn't have regular meetings, and there's no set agenda. Those of us who read the books generally talk about them here on the boards, or at our monthly meetings.

Well, I finished "Shadows of Mindor".

IMO - nothing special. Several things kept distracting me from really getting into the story. Notably, incorrect in-universe terminology. Some other issues I had were "resolved" by the very last page in the book. I don't want to give any spoilers, but I can explain what I mean if anyone wants.

Still, this one can be delayed till it is out in PB, I think.

I'm just happy that it's over I can finally get into "The Force Unleashed".

I really enjoyed Shadows of Mindor. It did get a bit bogged down in some chapters and I agree - the ending was a bit abrupt. But Luke was awesome! And Lando was an entertaining surprise laugh

Moving onto book 3 of Coruscant Knights now...
