Four for me.  Two are holiday socks, one is (or was) in case I would loss in a game, and one is someone know no one will ever know.

I have tons of pairs I've accumulated over the years: probably close to 40...
But they also "get lost" (run away, get sucked into a blackhole in my dryer, etc) so in reality I'm lucky if I can find a matching pair every morning without tearing my room apart...Part of the reason I always have to buy more.
So in the end I split the difference:

But I discovered that I'm not much of a sock person yet. One of them I never even got a password for, anyway! The only one I've really used is when I was gamebanned.

I'm probably the only midbie/oldbie who actually thought this was about footwear 
So I picked 50-100... I thought it was odd why the title didn't say "pairs" of socks
I only have one sock, but it's more my username that has since been abandoned
