A couple of years ago, I discovered what good film TPM really is when I liberally applied the skip and mute buttons in harmonious tandem.

It was a re-edit of TPM done by some guy ages ago . . . IIRC it made it to the net, but I haven't seen it. Apparently it is much better than the original, and Jar-Jar's time is cut dramatically, and all the poodoo jokes cut etc. But I haven't seen it.

Then maybe you should listen to these things and go and watch them. 
I watched Serenity before Firefly, and I still thoroughly enjoyed it. So don't let that turn you off.

I have a friend who's a total Firefly nut. She absolutely adores the series and she really liked the movie too. I guess that's a good sign.

Either that or Serenity/Firefly sure knows how to kill a discussion. No seriouslly, it's the weekend. And at college that usually means partying and drinking til you can't walk anymore or, if you're like me, you spend the whole day working on a 110 page screenplay due Tuesday. 
I'm having fun doing it though. I have 78 pages done so far and it's going to be awesome when it's finished.
