Question: Who is your favorite Monty Python?
It's a fair cop.
droideka EDIT: changed title to be a bit clearer, and also i wanted to note the older poll, for historical reasons. http://boards.theforce.net/census/b10264/7542711/p1/?38

Good poll idea.
John Cleese, of course.
But Palin comes a close second, with Idle and Chapman not too far behind.

I couldn't decide between Chapman and Palin for quite a while, but then I settled on Palin. So Chapman is a very close second, and then probably Cleese and Idle.

Tough decision since they're all great. But I voted Michael Palin.

I voted for Palin, but this thread should be titled 'Who is your favourite Python?' As it stands, it doesn't quite make sense.

I'm aware of that. But, on the other hand, many of their sketches don't make sense either, so it's quite fitting...

Fair enough! The title is more fitting than I thought!

This is really hard. I thought that it was orginally going to be about the movies, and I was so going to pick Holy Grail...but now...wow...this is hard. I can't pick.

I voted for Palin, but Cleese is certainly my second choice.
Also, I think Terry Jones does the funniest drag act. Plus he gets nekkid more often than any of the others.

My favourite former python is Cleese, but that's simply because of Faulty Towers.
Taking into account Python's body of work only, my favourite is Chapman. Just such a loose cannon, and an incredible wit.

My vote for Palin was based not only on his work as a Python, but also on his post Python travelogue career for the BBC. Over the last fifteen years, he's done several excellent series based on travelling around the world.
