For one thing, I consider it part of a movie. For another, I like to pay the many artists who worked on the movie the respect of staying to see them recognized. I like looking at all the different names. And, in movies with a good score, I like hearing the music reprised. So I absolutely believe in staying.
That's exactly my answer, in every respect. Couldn't have said it better.

Usually i try staying for the first minute or so...but that depends on who im with, and if they are bothered to stay

usually, sometimes I'll stay if I know there is something extra at the end. Ot if they show outtakes. Or with school of Rock, almost the entire audience stayed till the song was over.

All the movies this summer I stayed for.
M:i:III to see the Lost easter egg.
Da Vinci Code for no reason, just to piss those people cleaning up cause they couldn't do it till I left.

Usually, yes. Very rarely do I leave the cinema before the credits end (when the film is not so good).
