I already answered the poll a while back, but I was absolutely and completely spoiler-free. More spoiler-free than I've ever been for anything in my life. I didn't want to know a single thing, and I didn't.

From the point when info from the book started showing up on news sites, &c., I withdrew from the Internet entirely, so nothing like this could happen, and I didn't log back on, even to check e-mail, until I'd finished. Wasn't taking any chances.

Happy to say that I stayed completely spoiler free. Although, it was really hard with temptation as well as worrying if I'd see a spoiler posted online!

So anyway, when I read The Deathly Hallows just this past month, I was basically spoiler free. I did know, however, that Harry didn't die. Other than that ... nothing.

I stayed completely spoiler free for two reasons, a). I was in China and my access to the internet was abysmal (Not saying anything bad about the internet in China, the University where my group stayed had a computer lab where only about 6 computers had internet all the time with a 30 person group) and b). I got it at 6am in Beijing, 6 hours before it came out anywhere in the US. The reason I love international airports, I was able to buy it there first thing and finish it before it came out in the US (I was the second to finish out of the 20 or so reading it. 5.5 hours, beat by 15 minutes... grrr...)
