Well for one, I believe he's got some fire magic. I'm not sure whether it's just an elemental attack of his sword, or actual ranged magic, but it's still helpful. Luca's got ridiculously high defenses, and would last a LONG, LONG time against attacks like X, especially considering X isn't even prepared like he normally is. X can play keep away if he wants, but he's not going to do much damage at all that way, and eventually he'll have to come closer. And when he does, Luca's FAR superior swordplay will annihilate him. The biggest advantages Luca has in this match are durability and power, and they aren't even really that close.

Not that this is in any way easy for KM, but yeah, without any other real offense, and with KM's multiple area attacks and all her speed and the rest of it, whether she takes out an Eidolon or two first or just goes for Dagger almost straight off, she doesn't lose this.
Winner: KOS-MOS
Mega Man X (Mega Man X) vs. Luca Blight (Suikoden)
I see this as being really, really close, but I gotta agree. X is faster, and he does have the range advantage. May take him a while (possibly after it's too late... but probably not) to figure that he needs to keep a very good distance, but once he does, it's all but over. Not that X is somehow better than all those combined teams it took to put Luca (and some of his troop support, of course) down, but that was midway through the game, so none of them were really at their peaks. So he really is a good bit better than any one of them was as the time. And he's just better suited to taking down Luca in a one-on-one fight that any of those guys.
And Luca doesn't use magic. He uses fire attacks, but they come from useable items according to the producer of the game. He doesn't use runes or have much of any magical talent. It gives him some range, but not much.
Winner: Mega Man X

Let's kick this off, shall we? (Quick aside, does Roxas even get to participate here? Just seeing Sora in the game caused Sora to absorb him. I don't expect you'll let that happen here, but it's a thought.)
Cloud Strife=KOS-MOS (I suppose that unprepped, Cloud's probably going to lose six times out of ten, but materia'd up from Yuffie's stash evens it up, if not giving Cloud the edge. Ridiculous match, though.)
Sora > Samus Aran (Sora's speed, durability and particularly his ability to bat the shots of Xigbar back at him give him this one)
Dagger > Shion Uzuki (Her eidolons are better overall than Shion's EK)
Ratchet < Eiko Carol (but it's very close. With the arsenal Ratchet can bring, he can come damn close to taking her out, if not pull an upset)
Richter Belmont < Zack Fair (I love Richter. Unnaturally. But after playing Crisis Core, I love Zack that much more. Richter gets good shots in with the stopwatch, and wears Zack down, however, before Zack gets his shots in)
Strago > Tir McDohl (I say this because Strago brings so much to the team. He's probably as powerful or moreso than Tir magically, and his support will be invaluable)
Riku > Raziel (Sora wouldn't have much trouble with him. Riku does, but he's fast enough and skilled enough to take it)
Delta Squad > Roxas (Roxas is fast enough to take one, maybe two. But not the entire Ratcheted Up Delta Squad)
Celes > Shadow (The Runic Blade being big in the overall match, Celes can hold off Shadow long enough on the melee front to take him out with magic)
Emerelda Kasim = Wu the Lotus Blossom (Admittedly don't know much about Wu, so I'll give Wu the benefit of the doubt)
Yuffie Kisaragi > Jubei Yagyu (With her materia, she can do it all. Fight. Support. Offensive Magic. And Summons. She doesn't lose here)
Simon Belmont = Vivi Ornitier (Vivi's got the magic, Simon's got the melee skill and the stopwatch. This one's pretty even)
Knuckes =< Dawn of Dreams (Knuckles is fast and strong, but the numbers of Dawn will be tough for him)
Jowy Andreides < Serge (Serge is a better fighter, Jowy is better for support)
Those are how the individuals break down, as far as I can tell, but how many times is a match that involves teams this cohesive going to be decided solely by the individuals? Here's how I see it breaking down:
Riku probably goes after Roxas at the start, given that Riku was the one that captured Roxas and brought him to DiZ before KH II. And given that Riku did defeat Roxas, I don't see the outcome changing here.
Either Richter or Simon will go after Raziel. Doesn't matter which, Raziel goes down fairly quickly.
Strago Magus and Dagger (while summoning eidolons) support the team, keeping the individual members alive for a very long time.
But here's the turning point: KOS-MOS will be locked in a battle with Cloud that could go either way. The second someone (I'm thinking an eidolon from Dagger, possibly) threatens Shion, MOS is going to abandon her fight with Cloud to protect Shion. That will give Cloud (possibly many) openings to go on the offensive against KOS-MOS and finish her off after a long, epic battle. Once their big gun is gone, the fight goes to my team.
Pretty sweet battle, though, with Cloud and KOS-MOS, Sora and Samus, and EKs, Eidolons and FF VII Summons (from Yuffie, most likely) running around.

I wouldnt be picky, but it could go towards ranking and then make a difference.

Since Zizz insisted in the TV and Movies Draft, here's the half-assed argument I promised.
Rather than rehash the individuals, I figure I'll just highlight what I think is the strong point of my team: how well they work together. That's right, cohesion. But not just cohesion, offensive cohesion in some cases. Sora and Riku have special attacks that only they can do (Dark Shield allows Riku to prevent either him or Sora from taking damage, Dark Aura blasts enemies), and the Limit that they do together is pretty damn powerful. I think the area-wide double Keyblade attack could do some major damage to everyone on the other side. Plus, Sora's drive forms help with that, and he most definitely would have Final Form here.
Materia setup would be key for both Cloud and Yuffie. Double Cut, Full Heal, the Summons (Especially Bahamut and Neo Bahamut) are just a few. Actually, one of the more useful summons that Yuffie could bring forth would be Hades. Not only does it damage enemies, it induces status effects such as sleep, confuse, and slow, and it does work on bosses (see Ruby Weapon). This is easily attainable within the game, and I see no reason why it wouldn't be available to prepped Yuffie or Cloud. Yuffie's stash, as well as any other materia Cloud can come up with, will play a huge part in this battle.
Similar to the materia thing, Strago and Celes will have ample opportunity for an optimal Esper setup. Not only will they learn a wide range of spells(from time magics and elemental to protect and reflect and curative magics), and Strago in particular with his Blue Magic, they will be able to use their espers for attacks during battles.
Ratchet's weaponry will be invaluable not only to himself, but to the clones. Delta Squad (other than perhaps Cloud) will be the biggest recipient of the prep on this team. Four highly-skilled clones with out-of-this world armaments? Plus, they're pretty good in battle tactics. I can see them working with Cloud (and to a lesser extent Sora and Ricther) to come up with a very good, very workable battle plan.
What does this add up to? A good way to kill time while waiting for the U.S. Open playoff, but moreso, it adds up to my team being very difficult for any other team to combat.

Well, I am inclined to vote for Tupac. The prep time benefits them a bit more, with all the summons and the materia, and the cohesion is very, very nice. I don't know if Cloud would win against KOS-MOS, but he has a good chance. That's not really the biggest part of the fight though. It's very tough, because I think the Therapy buddies are slightly more powerful alone, but when Tupac is put together they just shine a bit more.
So, Tupac.
