Welcome to 20 questions!

My name is Kelia and I will be your host.

HOW THE GAME IS PLAYED

Each game will consist of 5 players.

I will think up a famous person/character. This person may or may not be fictional, but will be well known.

Each contestant shall ask one question per 24-hour period, answers would follow the next day, then the next round of questions would begin. Contestants are allowed to guess the identity after the first round of questions. Please send me your guess via PM. This will prevent the other players from gaining an advantage from your guess.

The object of the game is to guess the person in the least amount of questions. There will be a 20-question maximum per game, meaning each person gets 5 questions total.

If you do not post a question in a 24-hour period, you lose one of your questions.

Rules

Rule One: Contestants must ask a yes or no question. Please keep all questions TOS friendly. Remember, your goal is to guess the identity of the person/character.

Rule Two: Host must answer with a yes or no. The only exceptions will be if the host doesn’t know the answer.

The PM with the winning guess will get colors for 24 hours. If two contestants guess correctly on the same day, both will get colors for 24 hours.

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here or PM me. I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please sign up by adding your name to the list below. The game will begin when all slots are filled. I will also send out a PM letting each contestant know the game has started.

Question: Does everyone have to ask 5 questions or is it possible to pass it to the next one in the case (for example) you can't think of anything?

Yes, you can skip a question, however, you will lose one of your questions.

any chance you could extend the player list just a bit?

I wish I could but due to the 20 question maximum, I have to keep the player list short. Keep checking back or I can PM you when the next game starts.

For the players: Let the questions begin. grin

Because it's so late today, please post your first question in the thread by tomorrow (Tuesday 3/04/08) evening. The answers will be posted first thing Wednesday morning.

The best thing to do in regards to that is to say the rough amount of hours until something is posted. We can easily calculate 24/36/48 hours from the time something was posted. That's actually said for Kelia ... as I'm on the other side of the world as well. tongue
