Hit: Take another card. Stand: Take no more cards. Split: Double your chances and have each card be the first card in a new hand. This option is available only when both cards have the same value (like two twos, threes, etc.), but not for a ten and a jack, or any other card that counts as 10, it has to be the exact same card (two tens, two jacks, etc.)
Player 1 receives a jack and a seven. They decide to stand with a total of 17. Player 2 receives an Ace and a seven. They decide to stand with a total of 18. Player 3 receives a five and a two. They hit and receive another 2 for a total of 9. They hit again and receive another five for a total of 14. They hit again and receive a jack for a total of 24. They bust. Player 4 receives two queens. They split their hand receiving a 10 for one hand and a three for the other. They stand for their queen and 10 for a total of 20. They hit for their hand of a queen and a three and receive a king. This hand busts with a total of 23. But they are the winner for their split hand that has a total of 20.
