Obama talks a good game but has no plan for all that his says he will fix.
Have you looked into either candidate? Because in my opinion, you're wrong on both counts.

That's your opinion. Even if I think you're wrong as well.

No moderate to liberal Democrat associates themselves with much of anything John McCain stands for (beyond things that are common to most Americans), and so the idea that he's a Democrat is therefore ludicrous. He may seem like a Democrat if a person holds such far-right views that anything else seems "liberal", but that doesn't mean it's anything other than what it is, which is a silly and essentially wrong idea.
Particularly in 2008, John McCain stands for things that no real Democrat agrees with. John McCain is a Republican, and calling him anything else is mistaken.

I don't see that much difference between McCain and Obama but I'd have to say, I think McCain would be better for the country.

KnightWriter,
Trust me, no REAL Republican thinks he's a Republican either.

That's fine, though I think that's mistaken as well.

I voted for another candidate. Because this isn't a question of who I *think* will win, but rather a question of who I want to win. And I think it would be a great day for America if a solid third party candidate could somehow find the publicity, funding, and support to make a serious challenge for the white house, and it would be even better if somehow they won the election.
I recognize that there is absolutely no way that happens, but it doesn't mean it can't be what I want.
(note: do not take this as a knock on either/both candidates. I'm simply just about completely dissatisfied with both parties at the moment and would like to see both of them have shock waves sent down their backs)

Which is why I always say that if Perot had been elected, it would have changed American politics forever.
