I am going to have to wait and vote in this later as I haven't seen the new one yet, but I am expecting to vote for the new one because the last one was horrible IMO.
In the meantime I am looking forward to seeing what everyone else thinks.

I think the reason why "the hulk" was such a disappointment was for two reasons.
(1) Wrong director. Ang Lee made it into a crouching tiger hidden dragon type thing with all the emotions and meditative scenes and stuff. Mr. Lee spent too much time on the origin of hulk's anger and why he is like this. I remember sitting in the theater and checking my ticket stub. I wasn't sure if they directed me to the right theater or if I was given the wrong ticket. It took 45 minutes before you got to see the hulk!
(2) It was advertised like it was action film, when it was really a drama. Really. Wasn't there more drama than action?
(3) The third reason is that I think they choose the wrong actors to play the characters. I liked Liv's betty better than Jen's betty. I think like Ed's Bruce much better than Eric's. I am not knocking anyone's acting skills but I believe that certain actors can portray certain roles better than others. Could you picture Willem Dafoe playing Hector in 'Troy'?
I am not going to say "The incredible hulk" is up there with spiderman, but it was much better than the original. I always hoped that they would try again after the first flop. I thought the new one is about a B+.
Thoughts?

The Incredible Hulk
The thing is, I really like the cast of the first. I really liked all of the dark drama surrounding the Hulk's origin. But I didn't like the cinematography at all, the visuals, and it didn't have a good villian.
But overall the second one is better.

Well I'm going to be in the minority and say I liked Ang Lee's Hulk better. Maybe it spent a little too much time investigating it's characters but this new Incredible Hulk film spent no time doing it. It's action felt like a Michael Bay film and the dialouge was like watching a video game
