Right now,
Chasing Amy
is my favorite by default, as it's the only Smith film I've seen. But I liked it a lot and I can't wait to see his other films.

RE: What's your favorite Kevin Smith film?
Chasing Amy
is probably my favourite, and probably Smith's best work as a writer-director. In general, my appreciation for the original "Jersey trilogy" is higher than for
Dogma
and
J&SBSB
, but I'll still defend those movies tooth and nail if anyone talks smack about them.

I have only seen Dogma, so that's my choice by default.
But even so, it was a hiliarious film.

J&SB strike back. It was absolutely hilarious. Saw it twice.

I haven't seen J&SBSB yet, so I'll refrain from voting until I do.
Of the ones I've seen, either Clerks or Chasing Amy.

I voted for Clerks. It's probably the smartest films Smith has done so far, and its simpleness based in (relative) reality makes his dislog work much better than some of his other films IMHO. Also, after four more films, I still find the duo in Clerks to be the most memorable and endearing. Chasing Amy is not far behind as no. 2 for me.

J&SBSB is without a doubt the funniest movie I've ever seen in my life.

I voted for Mallrats, only because of Willum.

Saw J&SBSB today.
My favorite is still Clerks.
This is how I rank them:
1. Clerks
2. Chasing Amy
3. J&SBSB
4. Mallrats
5. Dogma

J&SBSB is indeed a
very funny
movie. I've seen it twice, so far, and will probably catch it a few more times at matinees (something I
never
do for comedies).
Still, the duo doesn't seem quite as funny as they were circa Clerks and Mallrats. Silent Bob has gone from being a serious mystery-man, to being a lovable puppy dog. Not a good transition.

I love Clerks! I saw it one day on FX (all the funny stuff was cut out) so i went out and got the movie. I laughed so hard I almost vomited. Especially at the part when Randall was reading through the lists of videos the store needed.
Also, the speech about Empire and Jedi was awesome.
