	Manhunter was boring. Period. Brian Cox better than Hopkins? I get the feeling that people like to promote the underdog a bit much. Hannibal was my favourite. But I think Silence is a better film. Haven't seen Red Dragon. -----signature----- I love you, lonely Dewback on the ridge.

	I have seen Manhunter, and of the four, I'd probably rank it second. IMHO, Hopkins in Silence is still one of the towering performances, but I agree that his protrayal of Lecter is becoming more campy than scary. Of course, this is mostly caused by the directions the movies have taken and Lecter's cultural status. As the NY Times quite well puts it, Lecter is now too much of a fan favorite to ever truly thrill us like he did in Silence.
