I wanted to let everyone know that the Charlotte Fan Force will be hosting a SW Monopoly Tournament. I'm not sure if it will be on Friday or Saturday [I'm hoping for Saturday]. If anyone can help please let me know.
We will be using one of the following tournaments:
The tournament would be a total of 16 players for the first round.
Tournament A
Round One - 16 Players - One Hour Timed Game - 4 Boards
At the end of the first round to two players from each game with the highest total cash and property value advance to the next round.
Break for snack, restroom, etc
Round Two - 8 Players - One Hour Timed Game - 4 Boards
At the end of the round the player with the highest total cash at each game advances to the next round.
Break for snack, restroom, etc
Round Three - 4 Players - One Hour Timed Game - 2 Boards
At the end of the round the player with the highest total cash at each game advances to the final round.
Break for snack, restroom, etc
Round Four - 2 Players - One Hour Timed Game - 1 board
The person with the highest cash and property value at the end of this round wins.
Tournament B
Round One - 16 Players - One Hour Timed Game - 4 Boards
At the end of the first round the player from each game with the highest total cash and property value advance to the next round.
Break for snack, restroom, etc
Round Two - 4 Players - One Hour Game - 2 boards
At the end of the round the player with the highest cash and property value would advance to the final round.
Break for snack, restroom, etc
Final Round - 2 Players - One Hour Game - 1 Board
Winner of this round is the Tournament Winner.
Before the each round the player’s money would be already put out for them. At the end of the round each player has to tally their money on paper with their property and turn into into the tournament host for verification.
I'm working on getting a prize for the tourney winner.

Well, I just got the official word that the tournament will be from 9am to 1pm on Saturday! I'm so excited about this!
I'm making up flyers and I'll be sending out myspace bulletins.

I'm going to be running Tournament B. I'd rather run A but I don't think we'll have enough time unless I did 45 minute sessions and that isn't enough time.
Also, I NEED CALCULATORS!!
