TN Based Convention

I did post this to our boards, this is for the people who may visit these boards and not our specific ones.
OK i have an idea, for a TN (maybe dip into GA or to the east a bit idk) PURE starwars convention. I hold it sometime where there arent alot of cons going on and there will be enough to draw people out to us. But just imagin it, One weekend a year, (at some point) one of the bigger TN SW Cons, Hundreds upon hundreds of SW fans converged into one place...for one simple cause....Pure SW Mania!
Sure as of right now its just a twinkle...but i whould love to see the possiblity of it. As i said b4, hosted in either chattanooga or nasvhille, maybe somwhere thats has a decent con space, and just lots of fun. Now i know if we get enough intrest and pass it by the chattanooga convention center they may give sapce cheap/free cause of the fact that they get so little play on the convention side of things.
So im running this by you guys and whould love some input!

We need to see if we could possibly get in w/ Chattacon or learn from what we see as mistakes at their event.
I'm interested in seeing how it all plays out - From the reviews and perspectives of the few people I heard that have been... It seems more like a "drunk fest" - But I really want it to be more than that! I hope!
If not we can always look toward ADVENTURECON!

Yeah, I'm interested in how Chattacon really is. If it is mostly a "beer con", then maybe we can help start moving it toward more sci-fi and a little less beer.

 If nothing else - perhaps I'll offer assistance towards next years event? I want to do some plundering, watching, talking and admiring on how it all goes...
I love this stuff...
I just wish I would have remembered to send in my $$

Yeah... We'll have to plan better next year. That reminds me... after Chattacon, I need to start looking at DragonCon. It all worked out for me last year, but I really need to send in my registration early.
