Eddie Izzard live is awesome, much funnier than I'd expected. I love his shows, but their tone is more along the lines of "an evening with Eddie Izzard" than straightforward stand-up. Being in the audience, however, gave the show a much more intense vibe. It was pretty much non-stop laughs, save for those moments when he seemingly kills his own momentum on purpose.
Sadly, anyone who knows Izzard's work also knows that it's his charisma and delivery that makes the material work, moreso than the material itself. One of the biggest laughs of the night was when he referred to Darwin's book "Monkey, Monkey, Monkey, Monkey, Monkey, YOU".
Kinda clever on its own, but he really sold it into something guffaw-worthy.

Even if it has Lucas ruinage in it there will have to be some great Spielberg creations and some great Ford deliveries. It will be sad if it can't be better than Temple of Doom (which was still loads of fun).

The trailer sure didn't show anything worthwhile at all. All it did was play the nostalgia card over and over and over. The same thing was done with the TPM trailers. I doubt even Speilberg can save it.
It should also be noted that I've never been able to stay awake through an Indy flick. There is aways a point where the flick screeches to a halt.

My inner geek is at "cautiously optimistic" at this point re: Indy 4.
Honestly though, the review I am dying to read is from Bosh. There's not a bigger Indy fan on the planet; seriously. You folks may not know it cause he's Mr. Star Wars to you...but the dude's a supergeek for Indy too.
