Summer's here, time for the summer blockbusters and mini-golf!
One June 14th, we will be meeting for the 2:30 movie at Hollywood Blvd and then going down the road to Lost Mountain for mini-golf.
We are still waiting for showtimes to be posted, so check back for an update.

Hey, I remember going to one of these before,
and had a GREAT time.
unfortunately, June is way too busy for me
(am unhappy to have to miss this)
June 14, is my day to visit the
Old Town Art Fair (This will be my 40-th consecutive visit)
and from here, I drive directly to
Bloomington, Indiana
to try and make the last hour of a
Hoosier Alliance event,
before I start a week long session of classes/events
at Indiana Univeristy's, Mini-University,
the next day.
and then rush back to Chciago, to visit my dentist (oh what fun)
so no June 21 events for me either 
Picnic and bookclub look hopeful for me at this time.
ok, enough whinning from me 
.....and I really love Mini-Golf!

Oh I have this day off. I love mini golf. I will do my best to persuade sexy Lemminglord to make an appearance as well. Probably won't be able to do both events as we can't be away from home too long because our very old dog needs to be let outside regularly.

We have showtimes for this Saturday. Saturday afternoon at Hollywood Blvd. on June 14 will be:
The Incredible Hulk at 2:30 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
Indiana and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull at 2:30 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
Iron Man at 2:30 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
Kung Fu Panda at 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.
Sex and the City at 2:00 P.M. and 4:30 P.M.
You Don't Mess with the Zohan at 2:30 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
I think I'd be happy with just about any of the films, well the first four anyway. The mini-golf seems to have an Indiana Jones type of flavor, so the second film might be appropriate. I'll go with whatever the majority pick, though.

Noob here.
I'm ready to pull the (metaphorical) trigger on a babysitter for this event.
I'm not real interested in the mini-golf, but Hollywood has been the only theater to whom I'll give my money for like 10 years. I've also seen Indy already (at the Blvd, as you might infer...), so I'll be voting against that one. I'd watch it a second time in the interest of being sociable, but I'm just saying.
I vote, in descending order of preference: Iron Man!!, Hulk!, Zohan, Panda, Indy
SitC is more of a date movie (and my assigned 'date' will be working all day), so I vote against that one.
I'll be glad to meet whoever (whomever?) else shows up.

I have also already seen Indy and Iron Man so I would prefer Hulk or Zohan. The movie theater sounds awesome. I am looking forward to the day.

I've updated the first post to say that we are going to the 2:30 movie, since that covers most of our choices.
But I really want to see the Incredible Hulk. I've seen Iron Man twice now and Indy once. And seeing the Hulk is almost like seeing Iron Man, as Robert Downey Jr. is supposed to be in there somewhere as Tony Stark.

My picks in descending order would be Kung Fu Panda, Iron Man (seen once, but would be willing to see again), The Incredible Hulk, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Cyrstal Skull (seen twice), Sex and the City, and You Don't Mess with the Zohan. Based on posters' responses, I think The Incredible Hulk is winning. Coincidentally, ItsJustSomeRandomGuy just posted this video where Hulk and Batman engage in a lively debate.

I'll be there in three hours... and staying for mini-golf. My movie preferences are Hulk, Indy, Iron Man, Panda, and nothing else... sorry, no interest in messing with the Zohan here.
