It's looks like I may be getting a different (and better) job. I would be off on Saturdays and could make the meetings. Yippee. I'll keep you posted to my future participation.

Well good luck with the new job!! You haven't missed much last few months. Summer is tough and we sometimes miss meetings. Many of us have vacations, reunions, etc. and it makes them hard to schedule. When it gets to be fall things usually pick up. Again, good luck!

Thanks. Right now I'm in the interview stage. I've already taken two exams and qualify for the position. It's just down to the interview now. Hopefully I get it.

Well, I think I did good in the interview. Now I guess it's down to my background check and approval by Human Resources. I should know something in the next 7 days. Wish me luck.

Sadly, I did not get the job. They sent me a form letter saying that I didn't qualify. I can apply again in six months, but I really wanted this job. It's with Verizon. I made all the way through the two testing sessions and apparantley my interview didn't go as well as I thought it had. So I'm stuck where I'm at now sadly. This sucks. And as if things weren't worse for me right now, I fell down my stairs the other night, Thursday, and hurt my shoulder. I fell about 6 feet. So I went to the emergency room Saturday, just after I got the letter from Verizon, and I've broken my left clavicle (collar bone). Hurts like hell, though they've loaded me up with percocet. I'm feeling pretty OK now, but the mornings are the worst.
My life has GOT to get better. Sooner or later.

Oh wow! I'm sorry to hear about the job  Then the fall, oh man! Try to find the bright side to all of this, things can get better Again, sorry to hear you have been thru so much. What dosen't kill us only makes us stronger.

You poor thing! *hugs* Oops...hope that didn't hurt your shoulder!
If it makes you feel any better, I have been sick for 4 days. Had a temp of 103.5 at one point and had to be taken to the ER... I was hallucinating and everything. Very scarey...

I've been through the whole fever with hallucinations thing before. Not fun. The shoulder will get better. I'm getting ready to put some ice on it for a while. You should see the bruise. Dark purple and blue from my shoulder to my neck and all the way down to my nipple. Are you turned on yet. You've got to excuse me, I'm in a percocet stupor right about now. I applied for another job online today so the job search continues. I'll keep you posted.
